Fett Facts: Thought to be a voice of Boba Fett, but was incorrectly attributed

According to The Star Wars Galaxy Magazine's "Boba Fett" one-issue magazine, it says Dell does the voice for Boba Fett's lines for The Empire Strikes Back.

However, this is incorrect. IMDb lists the following story: "It was incorrectly reported in a Topps Boba Fett magazine that Dell provided the voice of Boba Fett in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980). Lucasfilm eventually corrected the item, confirming that it was actor Jason Wingreen who did the voice for the film, and speculated that the confusion resulted from the fact that Dell most likely provided the voice of Boba Fett for the animated segment of The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978), but that no record of what voice the actor actually did supply could be found."

Born on October 8, 1919, Dell was one of the original Dead End / Bowery Boys from over 50 films shot between 1937 and 1958. He passed away on July 3, 1988.
