It might not be a bad idea. I remember two times I got paddled  in first grade. In one instance, my parents did not think the penalty fit the indiscretion and the second time I do not even remember why I was paddled. So I can't say corporal punishment has made me a better person

Ok, not in school, but with the possible law in Maine (i think it was maine) I do not agree, some people may need the pain to know that its wrong, others may not. but you should see my point. Its the parents choice.
