Topic: Jeremy Bulloch inducted as an Honorary Mandalorian!

This past weekend, the Vok'Chi clan and Hellfire squad of Mandalorian Mercs based in the UK were proud to present Jeremy Bulloch with official honorary membership as a Mandalorian Merc.

The invasion report from Vok'Chi was as follows:

"Today the Vok'Chi clan including Hellfire Squad of the Mandalorian Mercs invaded Heroes & Legends 3 on a very special mission.

Our mission was to make Jeremy Bulloch a Honorary Member of the Mandalorian Mercs. Jeremy was very pleased and humbled to have been presented this award.

Mission successful."

Jeremy is our 3rd Honorary Member following Daniel Logan and Karen Traviss.

Its shiny....I don't like bright blues and reds in Mando armor, should be duller, in my opinion. Like the other's armor though. More beat up.

And awesome--he deserves it--wish I could have seen it.

Jeremy should have been the first Honorary Member considering he was the Original Fett.

First one was Karen Traviss I believe, for her contributions to the Mandalorian culture
The Mercs are kinda gettin to them as they can.

If anyone deserves it, he does.

And I agree, the bright and shiny armor is kinda out of place. And big on the shoulders. Does he have mini rocket cannons under there or something?

Wait, Traviss got it first? 0_0 Just goes to prove how messed up a world we live in.

Reality doesn't care if you believe in it.

you guys... really?...
dont insult the man's mando armor that he built with his bare hands
its a mix between the blue/black/red and gold of a judge dredd style judge uniform and mandalorian armor, and for that it looks really great especially with his dredd style mando helmet he has

and why exactly is it a messed up world when the mother of all mandalorians is asked by the largest mandalorian costuming group in the entire world to be an honorary member. and now both actors of boba fett in the films (non special-edition).

frankly i think theres been a lot of rude comments in this thread when novall was just showing a pic of some guys in his clan and jeremy bulloch

Re: Jeremy Bulloch inducted as an Honorary Mandalorian!

I was just making a statement...but seriously, he was the original Mandalorian, so it would make sense to have him as their first honorary member.

unless the convention schedule for him was no where near the plaque they had made for him until recently and karen's just happened to be closer first lol

Re: Jeremy Bulloch inducted as an Honorary Mandalorian!

Actually, Daniel Logan was our first Honorary member because we were able to catch him first.  Karen Traviss was given hers by me personally at SDCC.  Since these are given out by full chapters and not just individuals, none of our chapters had been at a con where Jeremy was at when we started giving these out.  We also wanted it to be the chapter nearest his home, which would be our UK guys.

As for Karen Traviss getting an award before Jeremy, This is what my personal view is on it.  I've met Jeremy, had dinner with the man and his wife even.  He is a great man to be around, and his wife is simply lovely...just two great people period that I consider friends.  In the grand scheme of Mandalorian fame in Star Wars...Karen Traviss has done more *for* the fame of Mandalorians in general with her novels.  Until she wrote them, Mandalorians were an obscure group of near extinct warriors in Star Wars.  Mercs is not *Fett-Centric* as a club, and we are getting around to honoring all of the actors who portrayed a mando in the movies...cause thats how we see them, as Mandalorians.

Im not 'insulting' his work. If i wanted to insult it i would say somthing like: "Wow, that guys armor is F****** gay"
All i said was I dont like the combanation of the colors he choose.

Re: Jeremy Bulloch inducted as an Honorary Mandalorian!

Either way Mandal, and this goes for Miba and MH, is this really the place to voice such comments?

If you've got a problem with KT, take it to the thread that already exists for it.

If you don't like what order the Honorary Members were chosen for Mercs, does that really have to be discussed in the thread that IS giving Jeremy the said Honor?

And if you don't like a dude's armor....... who cares what you think about it in the first place?  The dude is there with THE Boba Fett, and all you can think about his armor?  This isn't an armor critique thread; he's standing there with pride with OUR Icon carrying out his function as a Merc.

At the very least all this is totally off topic and not worthy of us.  So lets talk about what IS on topic.  I'm very happy that Jeremy has been made an Honoray member, late or not.  Makes me even more proud to be an aspiring full member of the Mercs.

Just my two cents...

"You set a code to live by.  I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted...I won't be laid a hand on.  I don't do these things to other men, and I require the same from them."
