you can. One Mando, Venku (Kad'ika), has no two plates the same. that's to honor members of his family that are dead, but still. Or black armor with gold trim would say justice is your first priority, but hint of vengeance, a promise of revenge to any who cross you, etc

Is that from the Legacy series? I have a feeling it is.

Kad'ika and his miss matched  armor is from legacy

Makes me wonder about how RC: Order 66 will end now.  Makes me wonder if the plates are "hand me downs", you know, since he'll still be a baby in the new book.

yeah itmakes me wonder as well

probably. From family members that have died throughout his life, is my guess. or something. he's in his 50s, so he's had plenty of time to lose family....that came out wrong. Alot of people could have died. He's older than Luke, anyways

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

The other thing to remember is that the book has Beviin state (in direct referral to Kad'ika)
"We often wear a plate of a loved one's armour after they die, sometimes during their lifetimes, too. He wears his whole family."

This suggest that there s a possibility  more then just Jaing and Gotab/Bard'ika live.

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

this may or may not be a spoiler so readers beware
at the end of KT's latest legacy book Bard'ika states that he has adopted several children, and Kad'ika is not much older than Luke, if it wasnt for the accelerated pregnancy they probably would have been borne around the same time

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

Yeah, like only several months, I'd imagine.  I'm assuming by his whole family, it means the rest of the commando's, as they fell through the years.  Because family is more than bloodline.

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

Kad'ika is an interesting anomalic character, eh?  What with the various coloured armour from his family, and... unique... background.

Due to maintenance problems, the light at the end of the tunnel will not be in operation today.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

Yeah, he is.....unique. But cool. Very cool.

OH! new addition to my armor: vongese scalps. OYA!!!

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

Kadosii, Werda Verd.
He is cool.  As Delta 62 is the heart and soul of Delta Squad, Kad'ika is the heart of Mandalore, I think.

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

I agree, but as Boss leads them i'd go more with him. But, actally, he was described as closer to a "political agravator" or something. a lot agree with him, but not all. He's cool--a family guy, a warrior, and just cool in general. Sadly, we just  dont' see much of him. And he keeps lightsabers

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

And he knows how to use them, too.  Which is something to be afraid of.  A Mando, wielding a lightsaber....duck and cover, galaxy, duck and cover.

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

sadly, he doesn't like to use them. But if he needs too......EVERYONE in his way is in trouble.

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

Great pic, Alo!  Looks just like the pic you posted on your new thread, BFFC AMM's, but from a different angle.  Wish I could draw like that........

"You set a code to live by.  I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted...I won't be laid a hand on.  I don't do these things to other men, and I require the same from them."

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

I think Walon Vau has cool armor I mean stealthy black, and its also 1 of the traditonal colors.

Mandalore darasuum !!! Mando'ade darasuum !!! Verda darasuum !!!

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

I agree Adenn. Walon does have good color. Its his armor that motivated me for my colers.

Church... when I die I want you to have my orange juice!

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

The Mandalorian Warrior in the FanFic I'm working on has black armor to symbolize justice with a gold visor T to symbolize vengence and a blood red Mythosaur skull on the left shoulder. The layout of the armor is like Canderous Ordo's.

Home is where the armor is.

Re: Colours of Mandalorian Armor

Cool, I think if armor is just black with maybe a hint of another color it looks a little bland though, I dont like that.
