I can't believe no one's been posting anything on here about the Celebration yet.  I've just been taking a look on eBay and already there are tons of Fett items making their way on there.

http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_tr … ation+fett

Some new items, of course, that weren't publicized before, like a Disney Watch with Donald as Fett and a new Yoda and Boba Fett Celebration 5 ornament set.  Then, there are the items we all expected, whose pics and descriptions have been popping up on various Star Wars websites.  Some of the hardest to find items, apparently, are the posters and art prints that we had posted in our main Celebration 5 talk thread.

I'll upload and post some of the new merchandise pictures later.  But for now, take a look at that eBay link and you can get a general idea of some of the new swag coming out.

Haven't seen or heard alot from the Comic Con this year, which has surprised me.  Maybe I haven't been looking hard enough this year because of lack of time.  Other than the occasional Con movie review on tv, that premiered at the Con, not much has been heard.

We've found some collectibles stuff that's premiered, but that's being followed on our thread in the Collectibles forum.

I did find this on Facebook today.  Pics from the Comic Con this year.  Some pretty neat Mando costumes out there this year.

I think she got this costume idea from the guy who was selling these home made statues on eBay a year or so ago (statue pics on the link below).

Not too shabby at all.

And some Mercs with a Kiffar tattoo.  I don't know what it is about a girl in armor.  Wow!!  Anyone we know from here?

Did anyone else make it out there this year?  If so, please feel free to share your experiences on here.  Would love to see links to your photos, if you have any.  Always some good stuff at the Cons.  Anyways, enjoy.

Wow.  Nice ink, there, AbyssGK.

Oy, I think I want to go get a Vegemite sandwich now...

I still think it's pretty neat to fight Boba Fett in the Tatooine map pack from the first game, while dressed up in the Jango Fett costume scheme.  Kind of surreal.

I'm not even going to try to put all the pics of the new Fett and Mandalorian merchandise that are starting to leak out of this year's Comic Con.  Suffice it to say, plenty of new Boba items and other Mandalorians (Pre Viszla and Shae Visla) merchandise coming out in the next year.

I really like the new 12" statues of the old classic figures.  Very nice touch.  Looks really sharp.  The Olivia Munn in Slave Leia outfit statue doesn't look half bad, either.  Cute.

New statue sculp?

A new holy grail for Fett Collector's?  Only two each?  Really?

Some very awesome stuff coming out, indeed.

Wow, round 5 is already out.  I dig the Fett and Vader back to back poster.

Have gun, will travel.

Also, a new Celebration V "Tribute" poster featuring the Fettster himself.  The artist even went so far as to contact The Dented Helmet and found out that even the Skull shoulder emblems were different between Fett's Empire and Jedi costumes, so the posters reflect that.

Some of the preliminaries weren't that bad, either.  Too bad they won't be posters themselves, but hey, we can hope.

The new C5 Commemorative Guide is also decked out with a Fett motif, featuring Slave 1 blasting out of Cape Canaveral.

ralin is right, it looks like Jango's armor.

I think it's loosely based off of old Boba Fett concept art images.  In some of the concept art images, he had Jaig Eyes and other different symbols painted on his armor (some of which made their way onto Clone Trooper armor in the Clone Wars series).  I thought it was a Death Watch symbol on his chest, at first, but looking closer at it, it looks more like an upside down version of the Hawkbat symbol, like the one on the helmet of the ARC Trooper Gunship pilot in the original Clone Wars cartoon series.

Wish they'd show ARC Troopers in the new series, or even Republic Commandos.  They never have explained why Rex is wearing ARC Trooper armor.  I guess it's implied that he was one of the "ARC Trained" Clone Trooper officers, like Bly, Gree, etc.

Here's something kind of different they're selling at the celebration.  Tired of the same old breakfast cereal?  Put a little pepp in your step with Fetties.

Or choose from lots of other Star Wars mini cereals.

Also, there is a Boba Fett 4-day adult pass for those that are going this year.  Definitely a good year to be a Fett fan.

Awesome pic below, but he painted the armor in Jedi colors, not Empire colors.

Enjoy and good hunting.

Hey, got them in the mail today, dude.  Pretty neat.  Thanks again for everything.  Talk at you later.

Welcome to the Fan Club, Excail.  You're more than welcome here and we always enjoy new friends on the boards.  Feel free to ask anyone if you need help with anyone and as always have a great time while you're here.

Some new comic 2-packs were announced from our affiliates at Entertainment Earth and can be expected later in the year.

First up is "The Questioner" himself, Rohlan Dyre.  A Mandalorian from the days of the Old Republic with a KOTOR comic book and figure of Jarael.

Second, is a fan favorite request that has finally come to fruition.  From the Jango Fett: Open Seasons comic book and the Star Wars Bounty Hunter game is a comic 2-pack featuring the True Mandalorian leader and Jango Fett's mentor Jaster Mereel and the traitorous villain Montross.

The sets are Entertainment Earth exclusives that were announced at the Comic Con last year and are now available for pre-order with an expected delivery date of November 2010.

Good hunting.

Hey, no prob.  Thanks again, dude.

So, she's showed up in a couple of the awesome trailers for the Old Republic Game already as a type of "Fett like" bounty hunter.  My wife and I were talking about the character the other day and I did a search and apparently she has a name.

Although, not exactly the same spelling as the Vizsla's from the Deathwatch that we know and love, is it possible that she may still be an ancestor?

I was looking around the Star Wars Shop website tonight and saw this and it jogged my memory to ask about her on the forums here.

Very nicely done.  I'm glad they have her with her helmet off.  Have a weak spot for the redheads.

If Lucas wanted to do a really awesome limited animated series, he should do a version of this, that actually looks as good as this.

Oh yeah.  That would be pretty sweet.

Enter.....the MAN.....

Yeah, that would make me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Looks like some very nice Fett artwork can be expected at the Celebration V this year.  I especially like the one of Fett overlooking the arrival of the Falcon on Cloud City (and he even got the armor and blaster rifle correct).

http://www.starwars.com/fans/events/cel … index.html

Wish I could go.  Enjoy.

Yeah, it does kind of look like that, doesn't it?  I think they should have paired up Fett with a Carbonite slabbed Han.

Right on.  Pretty neat, dude.

I'd be more than happy to get one of the Fett ones from you.  You got a PayPal account?  You wouldn't have to mail it very far.  I'm just across the Sea of Japan from you, over in Korea right now.  Let me know.
