Wow, round 5 is already out.  I dig the Fett and Vader back to back poster.

Also, a new Celebration V "Tribute" poster featuring the Fettster himself.  The artist even went so far as to contact The Dented Helmet and found out that even the Skull shoulder emblems were different between Fett's Empire and Jedi costumes, so the posters reflect that.

Some of the preliminaries weren't that bad, either.  Too bad they won't be posters themselves, but hey, we can hope.

The new C5 Commemorative Guide is also decked out with a Fett motif, featuring Slave 1 blasting out of Cape Canaveral.

ralin is right, it looks like Jango's armor.

I think it's loosely based off of old Boba Fett concept art images.  In some of the concept art images, he had Jaig Eyes and other different symbols painted on his armor (some of which made their way onto Clone Trooper armor in the Clone Wars series).  I thought it was a Death Watch symbol on his chest, at first, but looking closer at it, it looks more like an upside down version of the Hawkbat symbol, like the one on the helmet of the ARC Trooper Gunship pilot in the original Clone Wars cartoon series.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Advanced … ando_pilot

Wish they'd show ARC Troopers in the new series, or even Republic Commandos.  They never have explained why Rex is wearing ARC Trooper armor.  I guess it's implied that he was one of the "ARC Trained" Clone Trooper officers, like Bly, Gree, etc.

Here's something kind of different they're selling at the celebration.  Tired of the same old breakfast cereal?  Put a little pepp in your step with Fetties.

http://www.starwars.com/img/fans/event_news/celebration_v_cereal_boxes/Fetties_sm.jpg

Or choose from lots of other Star Wars mini cereals.

Also, there is a Boba Fett 4-day adult pass for those that are going this year.  Definitely a good year to be a Fett fan.

Welcome to the Fan Club, Excail.  You're more than welcome here and we always enjoy new friends on the boards.  Feel free to ask anyone if you need help with anyone and as always have a great time while you're here.

Cheers.

Some new comic 2-packs were announced from our affiliates at Entertainment Earth and can be expected later in the year.

First up is "The Questioner" himself, Rohlan Dyre.  A Mandalorian from the days of the Old Republic with a KOTOR comic book and figure of Jarael.

http://www.entertainmentearth.com/images/%5CAUTOIMAGES%5CHS91774lg.jpg

Second, is a fan favorite request that has finally come to fruition.  From the Jango Fett: Open Seasons comic book and the Star Wars Bounty Hunter game is a comic 2-pack featuring the True Mandalorian leader and Jango Fett's mentor Jaster Mereel and the traitorous villain Montross.

The sets are Entertainment Earth exclusives that were announced at the Comic Con last year and are now available for pre-order with an expected delivery date of November 2010.

Good hunting.

Oya!!

Hey, no prob.  Thanks again, dude.

So, she's showed up in a couple of the awesome trailers for the Old Republic Game already as a type of "Fett like" bounty hunter.  My wife and I were talking about the character the other day and I did a search and apparently she has a name.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Shae_Vizla

Although, not exactly the same spelling as the Vizsla's from the Deathwatch that we know and love, is it possible that she may still be an ancestor?

I was looking around the Star Wars Shop website tonight and saw this and it jogged my memory to ask about her on the forums here.

Very nicely done.  I'm glad they have her with her helmet off.  Have a weak spot for the redheads.

If Lucas wanted to do a really awesome limited animated series, he should do a version of this, that actually looks as good as this.

Oh yeah.  That would be pretty sweet.

Enter.....the MAN.....

Looks like some very nice Fett artwork can be expected at the Celebration V this year.  I especially like the one of Fett overlooking the arrival of the Falcon on Cloud City (and he even got the armor and blaster rifle correct).

Yeah, it does kind of look like that, doesn't it?  I think they should have paired up Fett with a Carbonite slabbed Han.

Right on.  Pretty neat, dude.

I'd be more than happy to get one of the Fett ones from you.  You got a PayPal account?  You wouldn't have to mail it very far.  I'm just across the Sea of Japan from you, over in Korea right now.  Let me know.

Well, I've been meaning to stick these pics up here for a while now, but keep forgetting.  I wanted to get pics of everything once my room was all set up, but when I get back from Korea we'll be moving to my new assignment, so I'll just have to set up everything again (but this time with a couple more shelves), so I'll just add those on whenever I get around to taking pics of them all.  I've been sorting some pics since I've had the time to over here and figured I'd finally add them on Photobucket.

So, hope you enjoy.

This is from my old apartment.  Not alot of room to put everything up.  Most of it stayed in storage.

http://s293.photobucket.com/albums/mm72 … =slideshow

And this is from our current apartment.  This hasn't been updated in a year or two, though.  I just took a bunch of pics when I had originally put the majority of it out.  Some has now been rearranged to make room for other stuff.  It's kind of like Tetris sometimes, trying to get stuff to fit on the limited shelf space and still look not tacky.  I've added quite a few more posters, statuettes, and cards (although I don't scan each card I get, I just put them all in one of those card selling displays that have Fett on them).  I also usually don't display any of the Halloween costumes, cardboard cut-outs, clothing items, or backpacks I have with Fett on them.  Just not enough room.  I still need to take pics of alot of them, anyway.  Most of those are in storage, as well, but I've been doing good of taking pics of newer clothing items, so I don't have to worry about it later.  Also, there is never enough wall space to put every poster or print you get up, so I try to only put up my favorite ones, or ones that seem to "fit" in some of the more awkward spots.

http://s293.photobucket.com/albums/mm72 … =slideshow

Let me know if the links don't work.  I'm on the library computer and it's missing the required flashplayer to work and I don't have admin privileges to add it on the computer here.  I can't wait until my laptop gets here.  Anyway, enjoy.

I had never heard of these.  Just happened to find it while looking for something else.  Kind of neat.  Surprised the Post Office never sold these.

Well, it looks like there's more than one version of the Donald of Fett pics and man, these are pricey.  Already they're making their way on to eBay.

Don't know why they shifted from Pete being Boba Fett and making it Donald Duck for a lot of stuff this year.  Althoug, they still have the Pete as Boba Fett figures that are out, so who knows.

A couple more being sold separately.

Post edit:

Just found this site.  Has a list of almost all the new Star Wars Weekends merchandise on it for sale, including the Donald print.  Looks like the prices are pretty jacked up, though, so good luck.

Sweet.  I saw the Vader and Stormtrooper ones on Entertainment Earth and was thinking it'd be neat if they did a Boba version.

Can't believe I had to go to the other side of the world before I finally found one of these things.  They actually have one at the Postal Service Center at Osan Air Base in South Korea.
