Topic: Election 2012

As many of you know, this year is election year for the highly esteemed office of President of the United States of America. This November, the American people will be asked to choose, either to reelect President Obama or to replace him with another candidate. (Who has yet to be decided)

As of now, 9 Jan 12, the GOP nominees (of note) are:

Who would make the better president?

Re: Election 2012

Is this thread about the election or the Republican candidates?

"Those with the ability to lead, have the responsibility to do so."

Re: Election 2012

We're here to balance Karson's feedback. I did enjoy seeing his upbeat tweets during the State of the Union, though. smile

Re: Election 2012

Sorry about the delay in posting results, several primaries were held sense I last posted and much has happened.

Rick Perry has dropped out, leaving only:

Romney   Delegates: 123
Santorum Delegates: 72
Gingrich   Delegates: 32
Paul          Delegates: 19

Santorum won the Missouri primary, but in that primary nobody gets any delegates.

McCoy, I'm just doing the Republican Primaries at this point because it is pretty obvious that President Obama is going to be running for president again.

Re: Election 2012

I think at this point the Republicans are just trying to be as ridiculous as possible to get Obama reelected, unfortunately.

Re: Election 2012

Yeah...I am not confidant that any of them have the necessary charisma to get votes from the Democrats or the votes of President Obama's supporters.
