Nobody can bring down the Bossk man. No explosion, no blaster, no bounty hunter. He is teh man.

What!? Jubilee wheel, never heard of it, it must be in NJO man, I gotta start reading them

Re: idiots

Solo punched him in the face in a bar aboard the Jubliee Wheel.  I forget how he made it out alive, but they didn't clarify for Bossk...there's two ways out for him; either escaped in a ship somehow before things fell apart, or was consumed by the Dread weapon, enslaved by the Vong...and then escaped from them somehow.

Yes fett3393, it's NJO...you should get started on them, they're pretty good.  ^_^

Re: idiots

Okay, so Infamous let me read his comicbooks and this is how it goes....Comicbooks are NOT canon, but anyway.

Boba Fett is spit out by the Sarlacc, totally KOed and found by Jawas (they think he's a droid or borg,Jawas appenrently don't see Mandalorians too often). They stick him in the Sandcrawler, Han Solo arrives and finds Fett, who oddly enough can't remember anything that's happened to him. He helps Han out, oddly getting his memory back right before the crawler takes a dive in the pit (it was messed up by a tusken attack btw).

This is Marvel's Jawas of Doom which is terrible. Mostly there was a big scream to bring Boba back so they did, rather badly, and sent him right back to the pit again.

Fett reappears in Dark Horse comic's in Dark Empire 1 only saying that the Sarlacc found him undigestable leaving it to the reader's imagination on how exactly he got out (Dengar is with him btw). He also shows up in Dark Empire 2.

Tales of Jabba's Palace a book of short stories has Fett basically grenading the Sarlacc and crawling his way out. He gets out on his own,but is pretty messed up. Dengar finds him, apparently doesn't hold a grudge and you're off the the Bounty Hunter Wars novel series. A side note Fett shows up in several of the "Tales of" books.

He gets his own miniseries in dark horse collected together now, called "Death, lies and trechery" and a few other comicbook oneshots.

Fett doesn't reappear again in book form until the NJO novel Unified Force where he helps Han out of a jam with the Vong. And most currently in Bloodlines and the ebook Practical man.

I might have missed some, but that's basically it.

Re: idiots

That pretty much says it all.  Although I am biased in a way: I have the Mandalorian Armor book, read it first, so I tend to think along those lines

Due to maintenance problems, the light at the end of the tunnel will not be in operation today.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

im willing to buy some sort of explanation, if you have one. but it doesnt get more cannon then the movies.
and plainly bossk is on the skiff...if memory serves it was blown away.

dengar is in the scene where everyone is heading for the door with luke and friends to sarlacc, but isnt seen on the skiff so ill give him a bit of wiggle room.

drop some knowledge on me.

It could be Bossk, but they have re-used costumes before, for example every Rodian in Mos Eisley in Ep. IV looks exactly like Greedo, even after he's been shot.

Re: idiots

yeah might not be bossk. If it is though, how could he be alive in expanded universe if the sailbarge exploded? oh also why didn't bossk join the battle during the sarlacc scene?

I don't see why Bossk would be in on the barge in the first place... Boba returned to Jabba to get the bounty (for a second payday) and he was asked to stay on by him as a bodyguard. He knew stuff was gunna go down, he was a pretty awesome crimelord after all. Bossk on the other hand had no reason to be there, if memory serves me, he wasn't on Jabba's payrole... at least not usually.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Bossk got a major grudge against Chewie?  If so , him hanging around the one place Chewie is going to show up ( Jabbas palace to rescue Han ) kinda makes sense.

If he could control his blood lust for a bit ( unlikely I know) he could have seen that they were about to go into the Sarlacc , thought" Job done" and left before the barge went boom.

Just an idea.

Yep.  After he kills his father and feasts on his flesh.

But in The Mandalorian Armor, doesn't it say that all of that was during the movies?

The taking apart of the Bounty Hunter's Guild happened between ESB and ROTJ. It was Xizor's scheme remember?

yea it alternated between before and after ROTJ

Re: idiots

Yeah, the parts with Boba and Dengar are after ROTJ and the rest was between ESB and ROTJ. Later on in the trilogy the parts where Boba's at Kuat is after ROTJ. Bossk is in the after of ROTJ cause I remember spefically some quotes he said that I liked. It's in the first few pages of Slave Ship.
