He shows up beginning in the later part of Chapter 22.<\/p>\n<p>The book is &#8220;based on unproduced episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.&#8221; As we saw first-hand at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Young Boba Fett &#8212; voiced by Daniel Logan &#8212; already played a role in those un-released episodes. You can see some of the pre-viz work for those episodes on our YouTube channel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_sQEHbFZwdU\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">here with Cad Bane<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=L6937P5ZoZE\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">here with Count Dooku<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Brian at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eucantina.net\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EUCantina.net<\/a>, who received an advanced copy of the book from the publisher and tweeted <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/brian_nov\/status\/608465295926247424\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">some<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/brian_nov\/status\/608465773292568577\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">questions<\/a>, we&#8217;ve learned a few broad things about the plot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPOILER ALERT<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After Hondo has Slave I in &#8220;The Clone Wars,&#8221; Boba Fett has Slave I again in &#8220;Dark Desciple.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>This suggests a storyline gap where perhaps Cad Bane trains Boba Fett.<\/li>\n<li>Because of the timeline for &#8220;Star Wars Rebels,&#8221; this &#8220;reunion&#8221; of Boba Fett with his ship could be a plot for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bobafettfanclub.com\/news\/fett-fact-check\/star-wars-rebels\/\">still-rumored<\/a> (but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bobafettfanclub.com\/news\/bringbackboba\/\">much-desired<\/a>) Boba Fett appearance in the upcoming season of the new cartoon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thoughts?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Dark Disciple,&#8221; a new novel coming July 7th by Christie Golden, has a Boba Fett cameo.
