This year the popular New York Comic Con can be enjoyed virtually as well as safely in-person. Here’s our breakdown of what to expect.<\/p>\n

On Thursday in tandem with the start of NYCC, Funko will attend virtually and not in person due to the pandemic. Best of all? No lottery this time. Two variants of “Nomad” Boba Fett (see unboxing video<\/a>) will exist:<\/p>\n

  1. NYCC sticker. Sold via Funko.com<\/a> on Thursday, October 7<\/strong> at 9am Pacific. [UPDATE: It sold out in about 30 minutes.]
     
    (A small batch will also be at Funko HQ and Funko Hollywood.<\/strike> BFFC can confirm that this in-store part was incorrect info after visiting the store. Only a few non-SW exclusives were there.)<\/li>\n
  2. “Fall Convention” sticker. Sold in the U.S. \/ Canada \/ Mexico at their shared retailer, Walmart, on Friday, October 8<\/strong> at 6am Pacific. As of Wednesday, several Funko collectors think the Walmart exclusive Funko “Nomad” #BobaFett (#NYCC “Fall Convention” sticker) is up early for pre-orders on their site here<\/a> in placeholder format. It will also be sold at other shared retailers around the world like Smyths Toys Superstores (U.K.) and FNAC (Spain and Portugal).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Half of the inventory sold out in minutes in conjunction with SDCC. But the other half was always slated for NYCC and it’ll be available on their site<\/a> on a first-come basis starting Thursday, October 7<\/strong> at 9am Pacific \/ Noon Eastern. It’ll likely sell out very quickly again. [UPDATE: It sold out in 10 minutes.]<\/p>\n

    John Morton<\/h3>\n

    “Bespin Boba” who also played Dak<\/a> will be signing autographs at the Cyanide & Happiness booth (#2949) for all four days — Thursday to Sunday<\/strong>. If you’ll be there, be sure to tell him BFFC sent ‘ya!<\/p>\n

    Dickey Beer<\/h3>\n

    One of the “Return of the Jedi” stuntmen who played Boba Fett<\/a> will also be at the Cyanide & Happiness booth (#2949). He’ll also be there Thursday to Sunday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Kyle Petchock<\/h3>\n

    An artist we’ve featured in 2021<\/a> and 2016<\/a> has two booths at NYCC: #1242 and #1964. Work will be available at both and he’ll be there Thursday to Sunday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
