Our 20 Year Anniversary!

Published • Written by • Categorized in About BFFC

Today this website turns 20 years old!

Established on this day in 1996, the Boba Fett Fan Club is one of the oldest Star Wars fan efforts still on the web. To join us in celebrating this milestone, we have a design available in various styles on shirts, prints, and even phone cases, which you can get at TeePublic. (No longer available — but we have different designs to check out.)

The design was done by the incredible illustrator Jason Goad. We’ve been a huge fan of his work, which often involves Boba Fett, and he generously came up with this all himself.

The color version references a bit of his vintage Kenner action figure look along with his Return of the Jedi colors. The black-and-white version references his pre-production / concept white prototype armor colors.

Because we all do this as a volunteer effort, we want to go further. All proceeds will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, which is Jeremy Bulloch‘s favorite charity. The actor has been a major inspiration and support in doing this site since day one — along with all of you fans of this fan club.

If you decide to grab a shirt, print, or other item, please let us know on social media with hashtag #BobaFettFanClub or drop us an e-mail.

Cheers!
