Topic: their life after

do any you guys and gals, know what the clones were going to do after the war? Did any of them have plans to retire after or even start real lives? did any of them find love during the war?

                                   thanks for your help

Re: their life after

I beleive I read that most of the clones died out with all of the battles happening against the Rebellion. That is why you read so much of regular human stormtroopers.

That'd make a great fanfic right there... too bad I'm bogged down already.

Re: their life after

Karen Traviss implied certain special barracks for retired clones, or clones that weren't fit for combat due to advanced aging... That's in an epigrapth in "Hard Contact", as I recall.

Re: their life after

There's a comic where Luke and a few of Rogue Squadron land on a forest/jungle planet, and Imps are there and Luke comes across a crashed Republic Gunship and three graves and then during the fight with the Imps this random "stormtrooper looking guy" and when he sees Luke's saber, he automatically thinks Luke is one of his Jedi Generals (I'm guessing the gunship crashed before Order 66 then) and he joins Luke's side. The clone later joins the Rebellion, I think as part of Intellegance.

Reality doesn't care if you believe in it.

Yes yes yes. However, at the end of Triple Zero, Karen Traviss (or Mereel--at least, I think it was Mereel smile ) implied that there might be a "cure" for the clones' growth accereleration... OH PLEASE LET THERE BE A CURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: their life after

I think they were trained to stay focused on the task at hand and to not even think about an after war life.......i mean.....when was the war really over....it wasnt   one war ended for another to begin......war was the clones life....plain and simple.   They were taught to not feel love....or anything...as it might provide a weakness for their enemies to act upon. What do you guys think about what i said??? (anybody feelin me????)

Re: their life after

A few of them defected and found a way to regain their ability to age normally. Other then that I assume that a majority of them died and the rest began to serve the Empire.
