Re: First Mandalorian?

I believe the first Mandalorian was Canderous Ordo, but don't hold me to that fact. If your interested in learning more about these types of things I encourage you to visit Wookieepedia.com, that is, if you don't know about it already.

Canderous Ordo was several thousand years later than the first Mandalorians.

Re: First Mandalorian?

Probably.

According to The Essential Chronology, one of the possible origins of the Mandalorians was that the Taung race was one of the two sentient races living on Corruscant originally, and were forced into exile after losing a civil war to the humans.  Whether they called themselves Mandalorians then isn't any more known then if the Taungs really are from Corruscant.

Supposedly Mandalore the First led this exile onto the planet Mandalore, naming the planet after himself and begining the tradition of naming each leader Mandalore.  So it sounds to me that culturally they were Mandalorian before then left Corruscant, but in name they became Mandalorian under the leadership of the friggin ego-maniac Mandalore the First.  He was apparently such an epic dude they renamed pretty much everything after him.

Re: First Mandalorian?

Could be; Mandalore the First has a little more 'umph' to it then Bob   tongue    Sure beats him being Bob the first, leader of the Bobian people, and ruler of the planet Bob of the Bob system, and not to mention forefather of the man who would spearhead the Bobian Wars against the Republic

wow, this sounds like an epic RPG    tongue
