words I think it really tells the real Micheal 1988

I;m starting with the Man in the Mirror
I'm asking his to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer

Re: RIP Micheal

I was kinda wondering if anyone would say anything about this. Up until the last year or so I kind of didn't like him based on the only knowledge I had: Magazine covers. I saw him as a bad guy. Well, I was wrong and I admit that and I was starting to like him and now this. He really was a good guy, and pretty cool. And this is sad. It's also sad that there's still so many people out there who don't know so much about him and see him as the bad guy, like I did, through carelessness and lack of knowledge. Though I was just starting to get into his stuff, even I am saddened by this. RIP.

Re: RIP Micheal

Like most great artists, he was misunderstood, and even a little crazy.
However, a legend has passed and his mark will forever be left on the music industry.

I used to see him as the bad guy, and now, I'm regretting everything bad I've said of him. He was a good musician.

Re: RIP Micheal

It's because they weren't as important.

Re: RIP Micheal

I always believed and percieved Michael as a molesting pedifile, but I've also always honored him as a genuis artist of our musical generation. But now as Im seeing so many interviews and news coverage on his pedifile trials, Im convinced that he was never a sexual person at all. I believe that the man had some obvious problems and twisted perceptions on his own reality. One of which was that he fantasized about being a young kid with such innocence and purity. After all, with a history like Michael's, its easy to become confused.
So I have come to the conclusion that I truly believe that he didnt molest those kids since his life revolved around trying to live in a fantasy of innocence. I also think that Michael's main goal in life was to help the children of the world and assist their lives into becoming more close to a Disney movie than ever before. I also dont believe that he was gay, I think he was metro-sexual.
Regardless of the truth, my opinion really mean nothing.
Michael Jackson was a great, inspirational, black musician who has contributed more to the world than most poeple knew. So I give my honest apologies to my judgements of a confused, lost soul..........and I give my utmost respect to the King of Pop.

THANK YOU! That is EXACTLY how I feel now. I always beleived him to be a pedofile up until recently when I saw interviews with him, especially the one when he decides to climb a tree in is "backyard" for a news reporter. I mean he got so incredibly excited and just literally BOLTED up the tree. And then so incredibly innocently and child-like he asks the reporter:

"Are you coming?"
"Most certainly not"
"You don't climb trees?"
"No I do not"
"You're missing out"

That is just such an incredibly child-like answer. I personally don't believe he was capable of any type of sexual act. As my mom and I say, we believe him to be asexual. And yes, he was a little...eccentric, if not crazy, but in truth, many very talented people are even just a little crazy. He was such a tortured individual, I hope he has found peace now.

It is really sad he died, I'm actually having a difficult time wrapping my mind around it. I'm a big fan of him, his music, and especially his performances. He has to be one of the best, if not the best, entertainer that ever lived.

RIP Michael, the King of Pop. You will be dearly missed, but will live on through your music.

Re: RIP Micheal

He and Elvis don't need pain pills now. That's what I believe and it's the one good thing about their deaths. May they both RIP.

Re: RIP Micheal

Sorry to bring a sour note but apparently at MTV they aren't wasting any time to make a max on his back. What with the huge show with Madonna and Janet, don't tell me this is not going in anyone's pockets. And the bidding for the place right above him in the cemetery, come on, lol. They probably make more now than he's been making since several years while he was alive.

The irony, is that the media themselves contributed directly to destroy him as a person and his reputation. They are trying to make him glow as holy now, lol.

I laugh loud, because a few months ago, whenever you heard of him in the news, on TV, or in magazines, you could be sure to see a really bad picture, with the quite ungenerous comments you can expect. They say whatever sells, doesn't matter to them who they make or break in the process. Now that he is dead, Michael Jackson will sell more if he becomes a Legend. So be(at) it...

I used to be a fan back in the Thriller era, when Madonna and Culture Club were his main "competitors" on top of the world. The unclear stories about him with children have been a turn off, and my musical tastes changing over time, I turned to other bands and singers later.

I still think it's sad that he's always been so fragile and eventually died. He suffered a great deal in his short life.
