Re: Anger management thread

Well, I love my work, really. It's just sometimes some things bother me. Customers more than anything else, really. But every now and then Corporate will do something that I really hate. Overall, it's a great job. I got two large raises within the two years I've worked there (one was 50 cents, the other was about 2 or 3 dollars) without even asking for them, all because other people decided to beg for me to get them. And the other employees (all except maybe two or three) are very, very nice. The store managers are wonderful and they always help anywhere they can, they don't just sit in the office all day, and you can talk to them like friends and everything. And whenever I want a day off they'll give it to me, even if they have to change the schedule to give it to me. So, overall, I love it. Also when I dislike something and have the oppertunity, I sometimes go on and on about it. Like once in my LJ I went on for about four large paragraphs about my hatred of the new tv show idea. tongue

Nothing to hate today, not that I can think of. smile

Re: Anger management thread

I hate mondays.

I hate yard work.

I hate that the elves won't come and clean my house while I sleep.

I hate the fact that Broccoli is healthy for you and Cheetos and Chocolate are not.  (At least, not in the quantities I like to consume.)

I hate the fact that I spent so much time the last two years at work (Even if they did compensate me for that time ).

I hate that gas prices keep going up and the government is only now focusing on alternative fuel, and offering incentives to companies working on alternative fuel sources.

I hate that I spend five days working and only two days off.  It's the price I pay for working in the corporate world.  I could go back to hands on nursing and work a compressed work schedule, but I'd make a ton less cash.  At least I enjoy my job.  If I hated my job, that would really suck.

Well... I'm glad you enjoy your job!!

I hate feeling tired when I've done nothing to be tired about---like right about now. I also hate when I go to Dairy Queen, ask for a chocolate dipped, vanilla cone, and they only dip it half way. Grrrr...

You have a house rabbit?  That's so cool!  I didn't know you could litter train them.
What kind of rabbit is she?

I also have rabbits. Mine do that aswell, they then use it. Once  Bunny (my first rabbit) bit my arm, so I jerked my arm up, and she was dangling there. I think she has a dungeon under her cage smile . Oh, amy second, cowerdly, rabbit is named Mr. T.

Re: Anger management thread

Mine's a mutt named Holly, and she is extremely friendly and usually well-behaved.  Only bites when I deserve it.  But my other pet-peeve is that whenever I let her out of her cage, she is obsessed with figuring out ways to get behind the couch (I suppose she thinks it looks like a burrow).  And if she can't do it, then she goes through the house and nibbles the edges of all the scrapbooks and boardgames she can find, which is always fun to explain to Mom and Dad.  smile

That is funny, Bunny does that. I saw her check both ends of the couch (we blocked them off). I then heard furious scatching, which continued for an  hour or so. By this time I was quite annoyed, so I went to grab her. She was not at either ends of the couch, so I looked behind it, and she was there. She was trying to get out for about an hour.

Re: Anger management thread

sexists. We, by we I mean "physical education" class, choose to play battleball (a form of dodgeball). So, obviously, I choose to be on the team were the most of my friends were...the team that has the most guys. I get to that side of the gym and a guy I don't know yells,"Get off our team b****." And, of course, I have to switch teams cause our coach agreed with him. OMG, I've been friends with the guys since day one and now you tell I can't play rough with them...Just because I'm a GIRL?!?!?

I'm done now. Sorry.

She sounds adorable.  You should post a picture.

Close friends of ours had this bunny that lived well into old age, but when he was young and spry, he used to always try to get behind the couch or the recliner.  The also had this monster german shepard named Max who looked like a wolf.  Buddy the Bunny would terrorize him non-stop.

My cat thows tantrums like your bunny.  She's also very self centered and maddening.

My latest 'pet' peeve:  she's 13 now, and ornary.  Wants what she wants when she wants it.  The old man brushes her, so when she decides she wants more she knocks the brush off the night stand and holws until he wakes up, then she taps the brush.  She likes to do this at obscene hours.  And she has a set of lungs on her.  We had her a day, and decided we couldn't name her anything but "Skreech" because that's all she did, follow you around and skreech.  I'm an insomniac, and once woken have trouble going back to sleep.  I understand a brushing must feel great to Skreech, but not a four in the darned morning!

You know why they did that, right?  Because they couldn't stand the idea that you might be the 'last man' standing, and what would that say about them?

I hope the girls won!

Re: Anger management thread

Currently I hate when my toilet messes up. I live in a small house that I rent, and there's four or five other little houses by me. And, apparantly, the pipes on these houses are small and have a weird twist or two so that they're constantly messing up. Well, tonight it was worse than usual. Arrrghh!! It was so frustrating and annoying and my hand still hurts a little from the plunger handle.

Re: Anger management thread

ha ha ha. tongue Usually they don't mess up bad enough that I have to spend so long working at it, usually it only takes a minute or two. Though sometimes I can't wait till I finally move somewhere else that actually has real pipes. lol

When you're on like the 100th level and have got the uber boss down to one speck of health and then your little siblings pull the Xbox plug. That is something that really burns me.

They pull my X-Box plug, then I pull an arm out of its socket. That's my deal, and they seem to stay away just fine. Except for the first time, before they knew I was serious. *Evil grin*
