We just got Les Miserables and Animal Farm to do over the summer.  That's what I get for being smart.  Anyway.  Finished Animal Farm.  I found it quite funny.  Haven't started Les Miserables yet.

It's a good one... but LONG. Sometimes Victor Hugo goes on and on for pages and pages, describing all the details of something completely unrelated, only to justify one slight detail about the story. So... don't expect to finish it in one night.

But it's good. Worth reading at least once in a lifetime. Do you have the original/full version?

Cast iron and treadmills? Oh yes. Still sculpting me to what I really want to be, and I love it. :)

Re: Favorite books?

my favorite book is probably the hobbit.
good book.

Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

Not sure.  I believe it's the Oxford version.  I'll have to check.

Although, I hate to say this, but I'm kinda growing out of Horrid Henry..... hmm

It's aged around probably 5-8 or 6-8.

I still like them anyway. tongue ( blushes )

The X-Wing series were amazing, but I didn't know that the Coruscant nights series had a book out.

It came out recently big_smile I could not put the book down. It is a fantastic story with great characters. It is very well written. It is really worth reading big_smile (I am so much looking forward to the next book coming out in August)

LOL I developed a crush on Corran Horn after reading the X-Wing books. I really want to read more about him and his children big_smile

lol...yeah, Corran's awesome. Have you read "I, Jedi"? He was great in that too.

Green, before making a new thread, you are supposed to Search to make sure that there are no similar topics. We tell you this, but you keep making topics that already exist.

Maybe, but Green's conforms with the new standard set down by Aaron, saying "favorite _" topics must be titled "favorite _". And Cujo gets the "not searching award", he made a topic exactly like this, 4 days after Green.

Mine are 1.Tales of the bounty hunters, 2.Fall of Reach, (rest in no particular order) Bounty Hunter Wars, Halo series, Lord of the Rings, Space Wolf, and that's all I can think of.
