Kell brought down a peacekeeper, ducking behind a tree as he tried to locate another. The force was helpful, there was one behind a tree to his left. Suddenly the force seemed to deaden, Kell turned around and looked at the ground, a white cylinder was on the ground, a red light blinking on it. Grenade. Kell kicked it towards a group of peacekeepers  and killed them. He could feel six more in the force, Cabur shot something and the number dropped to five. Two more shots and the number dropped to three. Kell fired a burst into a PK's face, the helmet sparked. He turned and hit another in the face with the EE-3's stock, he shot the fallen PK in the face, and he felt the final PK die. There was a flicker of satisfaction from Cabur. "There might be more of them, keep sharp" Kell said, he didn't replace his blaster, keeping it ready incase more of the PKs found them.

2 Minutes Prior to Destruction of Strategic Fire Control Bunker, Doraan'to'ar Mountain Range

"Solus, we got bogeys comin' in, decimal two five degrees, south." The Air Defense Commander said.
"How many?"
"ComScan has detected a whole squadron en-route."
"Bombers." Solus sighed. "We've been compromised. Scramble the turrets, evacuate this sector to the underground portion of the bunker, and re-route all targeting and control console command functions to the secondary computer; I'll stay behind and kill the hard line. They won't be getting control of Mandalore's defenses as long as I'm alive, now get to it."
It didn't take long to evacuate the exposed sector, but locking out the command computers was.
"-yes, I verify for that to be locked also." *For the tenth time* Solus spat under his breath. "Anymore lockout verifications I need to do?"
"Yeah, input your command code to finalize the lockout."
"Will do." Solus entered in the 240 digit override code, frying the command consoles. "Hell, I could have done that with a DetPa-"
"Solus! Get out of there! Bogeys less than 300 meters and closing!"
"What about the turrets?!"
"They were disabled when you fried consoles! GET OUT!"
He sprinted frantically down the metal staircase, out the evacuation route, but to no avail. The massive quad blast doors were shut tight with no way to open.
Solus got a cold chill up his spine in revelation of what was about to happen. "You are in command now, Colonel Ghen."

SHKAFOOM!

Solus looked over his shoulder, fire and rubble flew twords him. "For Mandalore." He felt his feet leave the ground, then everything went black.

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Shiv was following the others when an expolision rocked the mountain range not far off.  They all looked and saw bombers flying off in the opposite direction.  Resh spoke, his voice ice cold.

"That's the Doraan'to'ar mountains.  We had our defenses set up their.  All of the automated AA turrets in the area are controlled from that center."

<Perhaps we should check for survivors?>

Resh looked to Tanis.  "What'd he say?"

"He said we should check for survivors.  I doubt the computers will be left intact.  But from the looks of it we need all the men we can get."

Resh appeared to think about it.  "What do you think Tealani?"

Tealani nodded in agreement, "I think we need to check it out. If we can salvage anything it'll be worth our time."

"Right I'll lead the way," Resh said as he had the best knowledge of the local terrain. "Stick close because I think this is going to get messy."

"Ah the joys of being a Mando," Tealani chuckled while both Jedi remained silent, "Do you think we're scaring them?"

Resh shrugged, "No idea, not that I care."

"Sure sure," Tealani teased.

Griffin readied his XE 11 Assault blaster and set off with the 7 original commando's to the bunker.
"listen up men.....<Cough> and girl then <sigh> there might be silly named people out here, so be careful, i've never lost a man, and i'd hate to stick you in a bacta tank or anything like that, so dont die on me or i'll kill you myself" Griffin said.....pausing to think about what he just said
"Hey griff, you've lost the plot man" Hawk said, the sections demolitions expert and heavy weapon expert
"I lost the plot a long time ago hawk...a very long time ago" Griffin replied

"Tigs, you take point" Griffin ordered
"Why do you call me tigs, you make me sound like a puff man" Tig replied, the sections sniper.

"Its catchy!" Griffin chuckled back

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

((The boards are up...I'm back...))

Solus lay on the planed rock floor of the bunker, covered in dust and ash, in a minor state of a coma.
He dreamt of being home again with his wife and adopted daughter.
Solus found himself standing in front of the cabin his father built on Dxun, the rain began to fall. Inside he could see Cabur and Vey'liin preparing dinner, grinding and pounding of metal could be heard in the side shed. He opened the door to the cabin, but neither of them moved or acknowledged him, it was as if he weren't there. Ghost like. Solus gazed upon his wife, suddenly missing her, he didn't know how good the simple life was until now. He wanted to just reach out and hug them both, but didn't, for fear it would all fade away. Ten years had gone fast, almost like a dream. There and gone. Solus turned for the door, wishing a final farewell to those he loved, and walked out. The storm worsened, the sky grew dark, water poured from the clouds so dense he lost sight and sound of everything around him to the rain. Solus fell to his knees, tears streaked his face.
"Just one more day...one more day."
"You have alot more than that left in you."
The voice he heard was his own. A gloved hand reached out and pulled him to his feet.
Suddenly he was standing back in the bunker, alone. Charred metal and duracrete fragments littered the floor around him. He looked over the inside of his helmet, the visor was cracked, there were blood spatters all over the inside. Solus felt something change, after the war, he would take time off hunting to be with Vey'liin again. Yet, the moment was ruined by collapsing debris and the sound of a lightsaber cutting through to him.
The Jedi has finally arrived.

((...and now Solus is back...time to whoop some ***.))

They had arrived at the mountain and found a wreckage of a base.  The roof had collapsed leaving machinery and stone all over.

<Tanis.  There has to be some way done there for survivors.  I can feel some people down there.>

Tanis nodded.  Tanis and Shiv ignited their lightsabers and began moving debris.  Finally Tanis found a stairway that led to black.

"After you."  Shiv jumped down and used the force to cushion his fall.  Which was only about 10 feet.  A voice cut through the dark.

"Took you long enough."  A mando was standing there impatiently.

JENSAARAI TASK FORCE, ONBOARD THE VADER-CLASS SSD OVERLORD’S SHADOW
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Our progress from that point on is silent. I'm trying too hard to focus on the task at hand, using the mission to avoid the inevitable possibility of losing the father I've just regained after the past couple of years. The chaos arround us is nothing compared to the turmoil in my heart. We finally arrive at the bridge. It's completely deserted. A  team of Mandalorian supercommandos are completing the final acts of sabotage. Before setting the ship's explosive charges, I move to wipe the computer clean. Behind us I hear the sounds of impending battle.

Several blaster shots, followed by the distinctly angry hum of a lightsaber, and a few grunts and screams. I open myself to the force and sense...nothing.

The sound of heavy footseps enter the bridge, a large group of armored Peacekeepers, follwed by a raspy mechanical, "Welcome home, Traitor...

((Thought I'd start it off, AA. Is it Xan or Tho'un? Remember, its Starjammer, his father, and a few Jensaarai, and a squad of Mando SuperCommandos))

”We’re ok unless we run into another patrol; you seen any?”

“Negative, you should be clear.  We got a sensor station near by though.  As soon as you link up, we’re going to take it out, then rejoin the line; you game?”

”Don’t start the shooting without us!  We’ll be there shortly

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

Xan stood before Starjammer, and other with armor similar to his, each styled after an animal. There were also mandalorians, but as far as threats went, they were nothing compared to the force-sensitives. His electrostaff was ready, and he gave it a quick whirl. He sent a quick transmission to Tho'un.<<Are you ready?>> a second later he received an affirmative response. Starjammer was standing exactly where he needed to be. Xan ripped the panel from under his feet, sending him falling down to the deck bellow. To prevent him from simply jumping back up he blocked the hole with a loosened computer.

He spun his electrostaff. The other force-users, identified as Jensaarai, moved to surround one of them, apparently their leader. He charged them, killing one of them rather quickly, and incapacitating the other with a kick to the face that cracked his helmet. He grabbed another and disarmed the other, snapping his arm in the process. A shot flew past him, he deflected the second one into its firer, a red grey and white armored mandalorian.  His comrade, a blue and green armored female yelled and drew a serrated vibroblade from the sheath on her back. She fired a disruptor pistol, which hit the lightsaber. Xan threw it at another mandalorian as it exploded. The female rushed him, he dodged and elbowed her in the chin, making a sickening crack. The last three Jensaarai began to circle, one of them holding up a hand to the remaining mandalorians. Xan looked at the, and spun his electrostaff once more

Re: RPG: Age of Skywalker

I am truly annoyed. I allowed myself to fall right into his trap, literally. I can't move directly up because the path is blocked off. Moving it would take too much time, and going back around would take even more than that. I cant cut my way through...unless...

I remember a trick I learned from my father a few years back. He said it was a difficult trick, but not impossible. I'd been fairly successful at it only a few times. I know that the time now is crucial so I must act.

I use the force to envision the mass of the blockage. It is made of a durasteel housing, within are fragile computerized components. I only need to focus on the mass itself, and I do so. I see the computer's shell, a tough exterior meant to shield the delicate machine insides from damage. I see the material itself, solid molecular bonds held tightly. I see the microscopic spaces between those bonds and I focus intently, breathing past the anxiety building from the urgency of the lives of the Jensaarai and my father.

The bonded molecules are strong throughout, then I find the material's weakest molecular bond. I jump up, hammering the pommel of one of my disconnected lightsabers into the place of weakness. Guided by the force, my aim is true, and I shatter the barrier, sailing through the hole, back into the Command Bridge.
