Re: Wild Weekend

Well, my dogs only bark at night if I don't put them up, and since we live in the boonies, they get free reign of the place. Personally, I LOVE training my dogs!! Mac is very adept at dog agility (don't even ask about Tanky!!), and knows a rather large assortment of tricks. Alas, Mac has killed some stuff... He's killed 2 moles, 3 shrews,  1 rabbit, a few snakes and has captured a opossum. But he didn't kill them maliciously... We found most of the deceased smothered on his bed--I think he was just trying to be overly friendly and suffocated them with his niceness. roll

Re: Wild Weekend

My first rabbit used to beat up my dog. She is insane. I think she is bi-polar, and has anger issues. She takes her anger out on me and the towl.

take it easy baby take it as it comes

I had a dog named Mac.  I strongly dislike dogs, though.  I hate how they bark constantly, you have to walk them, and train them, and they chew your stuff and all that.  Cats are way cooler.  They don't constantly need attention like dogs, have retractable claws, and are stealthy.  My cat has six confirmed kills so far.

I'm with you Yautja, I've never really been a dog person. Mainly because they smell bad and I hate the ones that sniff your crotch or butt and won't leave you alone.

Our cat Bella is a crack up, we only let her outside on a harness since we live in suburbia. She has an arch enemy which is this tortoiseshell. It was out in the backyard and Bella nearly yanked my arm off she was that determined to attack it. She's a territorial kitty, she even tried to go a dog through the front screen door - scared the crap out of the dog tongue

You must haqve some unique dogs then, 'cause every one I've ever met would not shut up.
Cats do not intentionally maliciously kill their prey, but it sure looks like it when you watch them play around with the intended victim before killing it.  (Another reason why they're awsome)

Well, yes, my dogs are unique... Mac literally sleeps 20 hours a day (Yautja, I think you and Mel would like him--we call him 'the cat' because he seriously acts like one!) and Tanky always follows his lead. So on most days we have two beautiful lawn ornaments. tongue tongue

Re: Wild Weekend

My cat is a born killer; during the summer I use him to catch mice in the hen coop.  But somehow he is still best friends with my rabbit (even though he's killed wild baby rabbits.)  He likes to cuddle her and she likes to chase him and sniff him.  It's very strange.
