Topic: Computer illiterate

Some stories I pulled up, computers just don't always work for people, to a point where you might want to check their common sense sometimes.

This is the best way I can put it, "Blunderers, fools,"--Cobra Camander.

Re: Computer illiterate

I had a tshirt once that had that "the network is down" cartoon on it. It was cool, but I think I gave it away.

But I have a little story. Someone somehow at work managed to mess up the screen size on the computer so that it was half of what it normally is. It was like that for about a week before I finally just fixed it myself. Seems no one knew how to fix it. o_0

But I'm not the smartest person in the world either. The other day I was watching a vhs for the first time in almost a year I think and I stood there hitting the "eject" button going, "Why isn't it opening?" before I remembered with vhs you slide it in, not lay it on the tray. tongue

Reality doesn't care if you believe in it.

Re: Computer illiterate

Agreeing with both Draco and Cobra Commander, speaking of which, have you seen the new sigma 6 design for him? It's different.

Miba, i have an issue with my old computer as well, for some reason it doesn't show thumbnails anymore to tell me what the picture is without getting the box to pop up. It's annoying, thankfully i don't use it to store pictures anymore

Re: Computer illiterate

I have seen Sigma Six, but I refuse to watch/read any G.I. Joe or Transformers other than the Marvel series (with the exeption of the Dark Horse comics, and Seargant Savage and the Screaming Eagles."

Ack, mine's doing the same thing!  Stupid Quicktime changed the jpg settings and now I can't make them change back.  (Yeah, I'm still on Windows 98.  That could explain my problem).
That story about the chick who used the CD drive as a cupholder is pretty sad.  It makes me feel a lot smarter.
