Re: Old Republic RPG

"You nearly assassinated my best friend," she snapped from beneath her helmet. "And then you assassinated one of our prisoners. So just whose side are you on, anyway?"

((He's not Czerka, and droids can't lie, though they can withold information))

"Huh..." Shion said, lowering her rifle. "An HK, you say? Good. We can put you to use. Go find Mandalore at the front- he's the only one who can decide what you'll do in this army. After that the techs will check you out and you'll report back to me, got it? And don't go shooting anyone unless they're shooting at us, please."

Territ looked at the droid with confusion, suddenly his control pad beeped. "Finnaly" Territ pressed the blinking button and a holomap of the are popped up. "Notin much till the end of the canyon."

Re: Old Republic RPG

((Okay, everyone with the Mandos? Yes? Good.))

Shion returned to her perch on the tank with Xondra. "One more crisis avoided," she said with her usual cynical sense of humor. She looked at the hatch, then thought better of it. She didn't need Territ's droid when there was a Jetti around. "Sense anything yet?" she asked.

Re: Old Republic RPG

Xondra Faux slowly put her fingers on the sides of her head and got a faraway look in her eyes.

"Yes. I'm sensing...I'm sensing..." The padawan looked up at the female Mandalorian with a look of irritation, "That you're a complete idiot."

Faux put her hands down at her sides, and explained clearly, "I'm not a Mando, yet, Shion."

The tall padawan turned away, very, very tired from a long confusing day, and sat cross-legged on top of the tank, putting her hands out to try and meditate for a little more strength and peace of mind.

Re: Old Republic RPG

"I thought I already explained this," Shion said, her patience limited. Her voice was stern as she spoke, "Do you think a bunch of Republics aren't going to take a shot at us just because we have a few Jettise with us? Keeping yourself alive means keeping us alive too. Keeping them alive," she gestured to the Republic troopers marching along, giving dubious looks to the Mandalorians who offered them water along their trek through the hot jungle. The Jedi, the older ones, didn't seem to really be there, perhaps in some sort of walking meditation.

"Would you risk their lives so you could get away?"

Shion brought the focus back to herself, the T-shape in her helmet fixing on Xondra, like a statue of some sort of passionless diety, gazing down in heartless judgement. "I saw your face when your master died by my blade," she said. "I saw your eyes- like my own eyes, not so very long ago, when I met the Mandalorians on the same terms -and I saw that you're fresh. You've never faced death before, never seen the horrors of war. Don't abandon your comrades to that." The shame of Territ's injury came back to her suddenly, having felt the failure she was about to preach against. "Don't abandon those who care for you to that. We're warriors, Xondra... but we're not evil."

"I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

Re: Old Republic RPG

Territ looked at Shion threw the slit view in his tank. His eyes divereted themselves back on the road making sure not to crash the tank and kill several mandos. His stomach rumbled, he hadnt eaten anything for a long time. He opened a box next to him and pulled out a small rations bar and nibbled on that till they made camp and had a proper meal.

Re: Old Republic RPG

The padwan whirled her head toward the towering Mandalorian, unable to keep the flood of anger inside her in check, "And the Jedi ARE? The Republic soldiers are?! Perhaps the innocent worlds who refuse or are unable to fight back have some horrible plan to destroy all existence?!"

Faux exhaled and turned her head away, her voice still betraying the painful sea of emotions within her, "I have never tried to run away. "

She choked slightly on the words she tried to say, "And that was not my master you killed. That was just another 'Jettise' willing to give his life to try and save a few sentients."

The padawan tilted her head toward the other prisoners, "Just like all of us."

Then the red-head's fiery green eyes looked up at the cold T-shaped visor with lethal intensity, "Why are you fighting?"

Xondra Faux tried to sort out so many confusing questions.

Why do you kill my friends, my family, and then save me?

Re: Old Republic RPG

Territ looked at her and said from his tank loudly so the Padawan could hear. "For honor Young one." Territ swerved the tank left and right playfuly jerking Shion, Faux, and the other Mandos around.

Re: Old Republic RPG

(( Hahhah! Awesome Post V! I thought I had you guys for sure! ))

Faux tumbled and nearly fell off with complete shock, she frantically tried to grab a hold and then the tank straightened.

Honor.

Faux looked around at the Mandalorians closely...for some reason she couldn't quite remember the Jedi lecture on that topic. She'd have to find some way to cleverly get more information on the subject without the Mandalorians knowing she was at all interested. She sat straight again and eyed where the tank driver was to make sure he wasn't about to try anymore sudden moves...but all in all, riding on top of the huge, vibrating,  powerful tank of armored weaponry was...fun.

They certaintly didn't let you do that back at the academy. Faux hid her slight smile, and wondered where she had gone wrong in her training. Perhaps in the end, all the whispers she had heard all her life were correct after all...

Re: Old Republic RPG

HK-47 rode on the side of Territ's tank with Shion, and Xondra, Bableing on about how to get the most enjoyment out of killing a target, Shion and Xondra were quiet disturbed. They finaly changed the subject after asking about his rifle, then he went on and on about it. This was going to be a long ride for them.

Re: Old Republic RPG

Territ pushed a button and a small gun swirled around and hit HK in the head, throwing HK off the tank. "OFF MY TANK BUCKET OL BOLTS!" Territ hated Hk droid cause he got shot by him. Territ drove off leaving HK in the mud.

Re: Old Republic RPG

"Exclamation: Drat!" HK quickly sat up and fired his magnetic grappling at the tank, latching on. He retracted the cable and pulled himself back up onto the tank, mud spattered all over him.

Re: Old Republic RPG

Shion just laughed. Never a dull moment when Territ was around. She didn't like the droid, but apparently he'd checked out with the techs, so he was almost okay by her. Or at least he would have been were it not for the fact that he'd nearly killed Territ. Still, it was fun getting him mad. She'd learned that some years ago, hence a long and interesting friendship.

She pulled her helmet off just for the sake of catching the breeze when Territ sped up, laughing when he jerked the tank around some more, trying to throw HK-47 off. She didn't think the droid could hurt him inside the tank short of throwing a grenade in there, so she didn't worry. It was these sorts of moments when Shion felt alive... that was the other reason why she went to war.

"So, Territ," she said, relaxing a minute as HK fell off again. "You picked a name for her yet?"

"I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

Re: Old Republic RPG

Territ looked up at Shion. "Nope, havent thought of a good name." As Territ said this a Mandalorian on the front started laughing. Territ slamed on the breaks and that Mando flew off. "Whats so funny?"

"Nothing Territ" The Mando said as he climbed back onto the Tank.

Re: Old Republic RPG

Shion nearly flew off the front of the tank when he slammed the breaks on. It didn't bother her any. What did bother her was that the Mando up front was making fun of her somehow. She hastily snatched an overhanging branch and threw it at him, helping Territ's crusade in her own small way. And what WAS so funny anyway? Deciding what to name his baby was serious business! He couldn't be expected to make up his mind that quickly!

Re: Old Republic RPG

Territ smiled at the fact that the Mando was now all muddy and had a branch just hit him in the head. He looked up at Shion. "What do you think I should name it Shion?" Territ asked.

Re: Old Republic RPG

"I don't know," she mused. "I've never had a tank... name her for a woman you admire. My father's tank was Vhonte, after the heroine, for example."

"I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

Re: Old Republic RPG

The Mando in the front bursted out laughing again and this time Territ turn a small turret and hit the Mando in the head, knocking him off. Territ's tank hovered over him and sprayed the Mando with mud. The Mando got up and chased after the tank. "Hmmmmm...women I admire?" Territ said as he looked at Shion.
