Topic: The Dresden Files

I just started watching this series and we're only on the second episode. Worth the watch.
Well up there with Monk or House, what have you.
It's on Scifi and the next ep is in two weeks. They'll probably have rerun in between for those just tuning in.
Based upon the novels by Tim Butcher(I think that's it).

I'm not excellent on descriptions but it's about the only Wizard working in the greater Chicago area. Yes, an actual wizard with magic powers and all. Don't sell it short just by that, the series manages a feel that doesn't look cheesey or obnoxious.
Unfortunately it's another detective show, which are kind of getting old. Even then I'm hooked. My parents, two of my friends are as well.
The first episode details Dresden's past as a little boy while also going over him meeting a boy quite like himself at a young age terrified that monsters are going to kill hs mother and him.

Re: The Dresden Files

I watch Scifi all the time and saw commercials for it it looks pretty cool I want to see it but I don't know when it's on.

there are no star systems slave 1 can't reach, and there's no planet I can't find. There's nowhere in the galaxy for you to run. Might as well give up now.    -Boba Fett

Re: The Dresden Files

If you have satalite there's always search. I think digital cable has that too now but I'm not sure.

For regular cable...there's always the newspaper if you get the channel or T.V. Guide.

And yet again, the wonder of the internet. Seems everyone is picking up on the broadband video idea
