Topic: Ghost Rider

For once I'm actually thrilled about going to watch a comic book movie. I only have one little short story from the series but I just can't wait for it.

Re: Ghost Rider

I'm excited for this one too. I've never had the chance to read any of the comics, but I'll finally be able to see it for the first time.

Re: Ghost Rider

it kinda looks like they made it into a comedy, at least thats how they are promoting it,

Re: Ghost Rider

It's about freakin' time Ghost Rider got a movie. It looks really cool. If you go see Rocky Balboa there's a preview and Ghost Rider's voice sounds awesome. Now if Deadpool could just get a movie.

Re: Ghost Rider

Iron Man's getting a movie too and he's the best(in my opinion) I can't wait till 2008 GO IRON MAN!

Re: Ghost Rider

You read that on Wikipedia, didn't you? It is very possibly true, but do not believe Wikipedia.

take it easy baby take it as it comes

Re: Ghost Rider

I believe Iron Man is actually coming out and about Ghost Rider when I heard Nick Cage was going to be Ghost Rider I kind of laughed because I never imagined Nicolas Cage as the superhero type.

Re: Ghost Rider

That's how I feel. But it's not a bad placement if the trailers are anything to go off on.

February 16. And to top it all off that's when the Naruto Fillers ends, well about the same time.

Re: Ghost Rider

I'm totally stoked for the release of this movie. I keep seeing clips of it when we watch UFC. I think Cage is a good choice. He does that 'eternally tormented' thing really well.

Re: Ghost Rider

I finally saw more than the last two seconds of the commercial, and it looks to be quite good. Zarathose, however, does not look al hadoes in the comics. For those who do not know what I am talking about, the grayish demonic creature seen for about a second in the commercial. Unless that was supposed to be Mephistopeles, in which case it looks absolutely nothing like he does in the comics or Faust.

no actually I did not I found it on IMDb which is a site for info on any movie and I've found that they are pretty accurate.

also, if you look real closrely in the Marvel movies you'll find Stan Lee who helps out with the Marvel comics and also created some of the characters like in X3 he's the old man with the sprinkler in the beginning when Magneto lifts up all of the cars and in the Spider-Man movies Spidey is constantly saving him from a falling clump of bricks, and in Daredevil he's the old man reading the newspaper and Daredevil blocks him from walking in front of a bus. I'm still looking for him in the other X-men movies and Fantastic 4

The main enemy is supposed to be Blackheart I think. Who doesn't get his comic costume until the end or so I've supposedly heard.

Re: Ghost Rider

isn't Blackheart the big black demon/wendigo looking thing? I think you have to fight him in Marvel:Ultimate Alliance.

I've heard that the Internet Movie Database can be quite inacurate.

Stan Lee did not just help with the comics, he was one of the creators of Marvel comics, and I know of his plethora of cameos. In one of the Spiderman movies (I cannot remember which one), he saves a woman from ruble; the protaganist does not save him. In the Hulk movie, he is seen arguing with the actor who played the Hulk in the live action television series. I do not think that he was in the third X-men movie. In the Fantastic Four movie (the recent remake, not the original), he plays the mail man. The mail man (whose name I forget) was in the comics, and was modled after Stan Lee.

Blackheart, that makes more scence then.

Re: Ghost Rider

Yeah, I know who Stan is he also created the Original Spider-Man. And he is in X3 he's at the very beginning when professor X and Magneto go and see Jean Grey to invite her to the shool then Magneto lifts up all the cars and the old man wityh the sprinkler and the water goes up. I have not seen Hulk yet though, and Fantastic 4 I never could tell who he was.

Blackheart that's him, he's one of the bosses you have to fight in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Actually IMDB is usually very accurate. The only time it isn't would be if there is a cancelation... which in essence isn't really their fault. And I have seen Iron Man on more than one site, plus he had the cartoon movie just released so i wouldnt doubt it. Oh and in Daredevil Stan Lee is the man with the newspaper that Daredevil stops from being hit by a car, after his playground battle with Electra.

Good... Bad... I'm the one with the gun.
Hail to the King Baby!!

Re: Ghost Rider

no it was when he was still a kid when he stops him cuz after the playground battle it went right to the court scene and besides I already said that

Duh (to myself, not to you). I remember seeing Stan Lee in the commercial, and in the movie, and I read your comment. I think that I was thinkking of "X2," rather than the third movie in the series.

Re: Ghost Rider

i always liked the old ghost rider comics when they came out.all the new marvel movies are good but they seem to take forever before the fighting starts.

Re: Ghost Rider

Hey Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer looks pretty cool too.  Although wasn't he like the hero in the comics instead of the anti-hero implied in the commercial?
