Topic: Boba Scenes Desperately Needed in Mando

Since there's NOT going to be a Boba Fett mini-series coming it would be super-cool to see in this Mandalorian TV show a flashback of Boba escaping the Sarlacc Pit and just exactly who helped him out of it. What do you guys think?

Re: Boba Scenes Desperately Needed in Mando

It’d be interesting to see something hallucinogenic or dreamscape, Boba references “spice dreams” in the Tragedy; it would be neat to see a live action version of the lost fight with Cad Bane to explain the dent in his lid.

ctxboy1981, definitely needs a Sarlacc escape scene, but it might be a stretch. They spent so much time with Cobb flashbacks instead.

Kevbofett, that would be cool, too!

If we don’t get that Sarlacc scene this season then maybe next season? Didn’t “Barve Like That: The Tale Of Boba Fett” come out a few years after “Dark Empire”?

I dunno, I'm not sure that Lucasfilm played their whole hand during that live event. I mean, in principle, a Boba Fett spin-off could still be under the umbrella of the main series and be released as a sort of prequel to the next season of The Mandalorian? I wouldn't be surprised if we go a 'surprise' reveal of something Fett related mid-2021.

In responding to the thread topic - I'd love to see a scene between Vanth and Boba, where Fett is revealed to have approved of the marshal's use of his father's armor. For me there can be no other likely explanation for why he allowed him to keep it for five years, other than that he thought Vanth was honorable and deserving of the armor.

It would be cool if Dengar was the one that helped Boba out of the Sarlacc if he didn't climb out himself.

Since we've now seen that the showrunners have no qualms bringing back "old" characters back on screen, I would love to see some flashbacks to Boba's youth with Jango. They could use Tem in the role of Jango, of course, and use that fancy-ass de-aging CGI technology to make him look more like he did in AotC (and IIRC, Tem was de-aged using similar tech in Aquaman during Jason Mamoa's childhood scenes, and I don't think it was half-bad?).

Honestly, a young Boba in a flashback could probably be played by any little kid approximating the appearance of a younger Daniel Logan.

Given that The Mandalorian centers strongly on (surrogate) Father-Son relationships, and that Boba's legitimacy as a son to Jango has already been questioned by characters like Bo-Katan, I would love to see an emotional, down to earth scene between them. I think it could be really fascinating to see that and solidify the importance of Jango as an actual father to Boba - not a mere "donor."
