Boba Fett, one of those "minor characters" who happens to be a darling of fanboys and girls around the world, is still on the table for appearing in the new Star Wars TV series. Several news outlets suggested Fett in their commentary about a new press release announced today:

  • Ain't It Cool News: "...something about Boba FettÃ?'¢â‚¬Â¦should be in his 20s in this seriesÃ?'¢â‚¬Â¦angstyÃ?'¢â‚¬Â¦disenfranchisedÃ?'¢â‚¬Â¦and simmeringÃ?'¢â‚¬Â¦" (via Adventures on Strange Land)
  • E! News: "Lucas characteristically refused to divulge details about the storylines or even which minor characters might turn up in either starring or cameos. (We're lookin' at you, Boba Fett.)"
  • Warcry.com: "The whole damn show should be about Boba Fett. About how Boba Fett feeds Jar Jar into a mulcher, feet first. An inch at a time. I would tune into that for 19 seasons. If Jar Jar isn't that tall, they could start using Ewoks."
