Last year, Jeremy Bulloch attended a Sci Fi Expo in Dallas Texas. During this event Dented Helmet member Alex (SpideyFett) had an opportunity to speak with the original Boba Fett. During this conversation Jeremy had told Alex about how amazed he was at the Fett costumes that The Dented Helmet had at the expo and it reminded him of the suit he wore during filming.

Later Alex learned that Jeremy actually wanted a full Fett suit for himself and had been wanting one for some time. And so, the Jeremy Bulloch Project began. The joint powers of memebers from The Dented Helmet and Rebelscum worked on the project for 6 months. The final costume was presented to Jeremy on April 5, 2008 at the Dallas Comic Con.

Pictures of the event and a link to the original story at Ricks Family Website Blog.

The Dallas Morning News wrote up a post, which includes a picture. "'To get this suit is a highlight,' Mr. Bulloch said. 'We never got to keep our costumes after filming. I now have one to wear to events.' The British actor flew in especially for the Boba Fett fete."

On April 1st, boingboing.net captured Star Wars and Fett fans nation-wide with its posting of an exclusive interview with George Lucas about "The Boba Fett Mystique". However, upon watching the clip on their website, a video is shown that has nothing to do with an interview, or Boba Fett, or Star Wars in general. The fake insight into the Fett man's mysteriousness played us all (and certainly this avid Fett fan) for fools.

We just received permission from the publicity handler for George Lucas to air this *!*!*!*exclusive*!*!*!* interview with the Star Wars creator about his new self-help audiobook and line of aromatherapy bath salts and sugar scrubs, "The Boba Fett Mystique."

This product is co-branded by notoriously cocooned celebrity author JD Salinger. Behold, our power of videobloggage is mighty! It's a special calendar day.

As many Star Wars fans may know by now, Fanboys is an upcoming film giving homage to the Star Wars fan base. The film, once only a simple script that Harry Knowles had been promoting on his movie site Aint It Cool News, now has The Weinstein Company finacing the film.

The story is set in 1998 and centers on a road trip by a group of friends who literally can't wait until Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace hits theaters. They head to George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch intent on sneaking a peek at a rough cut. They can't wait because one of the friends is dying of cancer and may not live to see the release of Episode I. Their road trip is like a geeky, illegal version of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

That version of the film, however, has been changed. The studio thought that the film wouldn't be much of a comedy with cancer being mentioned.

"Have you seen the cancer version of this movie?" writes Steven Brill, the director of Little Nicky and Drillbit Taylor, in an email to an angry fan. "I have. It is unreleaseable. It would be irresponsible to release it." Brill was brought in to reshoot the film and erase any reference of cancer.

Rebellious fans have rallied under the banner Stop Darth Weinstein! They have begun spamming the email addresses of Weinstein employees and protested at the NYC and LA premiers of the Weinstein film Superhero Movie.

The release date of the movie is yet to be announced, and fans will try their hardest to get the Weinstein company to change the film back to its original form. The form that most beleive had heart, but now may just be another run-of-the-mill comedy. Only time will tell.

On a side note, a story more related to the BFFC was the picture of Boba Fett next to the actual article in Wired Magazine. It seems our Fett man was featured in the magazine, although it appears to be a fan made costume. The picture can be seen in the link.

On the blog Married to the Empire, you can see behind-the-scenes pictures of the Wired photo shoot, which include candid shots of a Boba Fett costumer from the 501st.

Fett fans are overjoyed at the recent flood of Boba and Jango Fett figures from Hasbro that have shown up in stores world-wide. All the variations of Fett have appeared: the Ralph McQuarrie concept figure to the Sarlacc Escape figure and even the Holiday Special appearance, Boba Fett has become one of the most produced Star Wars figure from Hasbro. This, of course, comes with the message: "All Sold Separately".

Fett fan David Horvath recently put up a post on his blog, UGLYBLOG, about discovering the whole Fett family in Target and buying them all.

The recent surplus of Boba Fett figures, statues, and collectibles and only re-enforced the statement, "And what do you know, fan's wallets come in 3 versions. Light, lighter, and empty."

George Lucas made a surprise appearance at ShoWest, the annual event for theater exhibitors in Las Vegas, to bring up his new installment of the saga, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. E! News has a juicy note about Boba Fett and how Temuera Morrison, Daniel Logan, nor Jeremy Bulloch are to be expected to give a voice to Boba Fett.

Lucas added that all the major characters from the prequel trilogy will be present and accounted for—from Yoda and the Emperor to Mace Windu and Boba Fett (though they won't be voiced by the film actors). Among the newbies: Anakin's young apprentice, a female Jedi by the name of Ahsoki.

The new Star Wars film is coming August 15, 2008, and will lead into the live-action series on TNT and Cartoon Network for Fall 2008.
