Fetts in Rose Parade

Boba and Jango Fett made today’s Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.

One critique hit the blogosphere early this morning, after spectators and television viewers noticed Fett alongside the Naboo float. (Update 01/02/07: Boba walked alongside Endor.)

…I find it something of a snub that the second Oklahoma float had a man with a jetpack, and they had a Jango Fett hiker with the Naboo palace float. Here’s what I think should’ve happened: there should’ve been a Kamino float, depicting the battle between Jango Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Then, the Jango actor leaps up with the jetpack and goes flying. Sounds simple, wouldn’t it?

According to the forum at TheDentedHelmet.com, the two fans — Daren “TK1068” and Brian “Jango Fett 581,” respectively — were chosen, representing the Central California Garrison of the 501st.
