Helmet
Tips From The Pros: Flynn O'Connor
As far as the Don Post (cheap) helmet, there's a lot that can be done with a little "beating up" via silver paint. Get 2 or three different colors of silver (mix with black) and give it a few more nicks here and there. The different colors of silver will make it look a bit more "3-D." This also works for the rest of the
armor. If you can, purchase plastic car window tint to put over the T-slit. Since only half of the slit is actual see-thru plastic, it's easy to see the division line -- the top half is gloss and the bottom is matte. Or, spray the bottom half with clear acrylic gloss (to make it shiny.) and darken around your eyes so that it's harder for people to see in. Paint in the arrows, red and green.
