Boba met the H'drachi "mechanic"/thief, Honest Gjon, while visiting the moon Bogg 4 in his quest to find Darth Tyranus a.k.a. Count Dooku.
Honest Gjon was a partner of the bird-like humanoid thief, Aia, that Boba had met while walking to the moon's town. Gjon had pretented to be a mechanic when Boba's ship, Slave I, had been damaged entering the chaotic gravity of the moon's atmostphere. However, while Boba was away the H'drachi stole his ship and took it to another nearby moon to strip it down and sell off its parts. This would have no doubt been the ship's fate had not Boba helped Aia out of some trouble in the town and the alien repayed the young Fett by taking him to Gjon's hideout. After retreiving his ship Boba was convinced by the two thiefs to help them capture some counterfeit credits that were being transported between two other nearby moons, before reprising his search for the Separtist leader.
