Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

Darth Morticus was caught off-guard by the explosion, but prevented major wounds by activating a shield with his force powers. Darth Morticus got up from the ground just as the Mon Cal fire-ships flew in.  Simply by compressing his hand into a fist, he crushed the first ship. The second try to escape, but met th same fate. [i]Now, I shall kill my former Apprentice, Rilk, and show that disloyalty to the Great Sith Lord will only get you killed. Before the Dark Lord could leave General Perez, newly appointed, came into the clearing. "My Lord, are you all right?" "I am fine. Order our army to regroup and rearm for an attack against the core systems. Inform me when they are prepared." "Yes, my Lord."

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

((Last post 'fer the night. Sleep tight, ya'll.))

"C'mon," Kiat shouted over her shoulder. Kita could feel her fatigue draining her adrenaline, especially in her knees. She'd taken a hard fall after tripping on Rilk's cloak. They'd couldn't stop, couldn't get their bearings. They were running blindly, Kita hoped the two Jedi would be able to figure their way out of the city to the docking bay.

"Get up!" she barked at Rilk, grasping forearms to jerk him roughly to his feet. Kita could hear Ursula's padded feet pounding the pavement behind them; she was going to catch them any second. "I'll see to your bruises later." That got him moving, TenRe couldn't help but shout, "If there is a later." "There'll be a later," Kita spared a glance over her shoulder to see Ursula breathing down their heels, Kita knew she couldn't keep up this pace forever. She didn't have the Force to draw on like the other three. "'Cause I would really like some Tarisian ale!"

They say that dreamers are an extinct breed. I say they're wrong.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

"And I'd just like to keep my skin don't waste your breath!"
TenRe sped up slowly. Rilk and him throwing their cloaks into the wind. Which were half hazardly slashed without care by Ursula. The two rolling up into ship landing weakly on their feet. Rilk grabbing Kita's hand, pulling her aboard. Lifting the ramp as Kita pulled her hand away. Ursula barely missing them as they took off. Into the sky, away to find the others.
"There's no signal at all, I can't see why there's no hint to where that Jawa went."
Kita had manned the ship, TenRe joining her as copilot. Rilk roving around the ship checking everything out. Bringing back an ale he'd found under one of the deckplates. Handing it to Kita he went and sat down at the couch- that looks so comfortable he'd have to try sleeping on it later- facing towards a card table behind the cockpit off to the side.
"There's always a guide in the force, don't give up now...I know, it's depressing all the same but at least hold on."
And there it was, a signal from the main building. Nav coordinates and all. Tog's ship barely lifting off as they passed over. This time it seemed they'd be leading.
"We're heading for Dantooine. Sending the nav coordinates now...seems we got lucky."
"Shouldn't that be the force at work?"
"Well, sometime they're one in the same."
TenRe rubbed the back of his head laughinh slightly. Walking over to Rilk shoving the him off the couch with a force push. Sprawled out he fell asleep. Rilk moving into the copilot's seat now.
--------------------------
"I think I prefered the nearly blind guy over you."
"Pardon me for breathing the same air as you."
Rilk tapped a few buttons, the ones Kita couldn't reach at least. Watching the skyline turn to hyperspace. The two getting up. Rilk towards the small chair on the other side of the card table. Kita waking TenRe up and taking the second spot on the couch.
TenRe having fell alseep again sitting up, sliding slightly.
"It's about time we got to know each other Mando'a(is that right?). Otherwise working together is going to be a real hassle.
------------------
TenRe decided he wouldn't say anything about faking sleep...listening in on the two's conversation.

Tog sat in the ship and followed the others. <Damn couldnt wait for Tog, Tog still out of Rockets, and Now we going to another cold planet.> Tog couldve ran right there, run from the war, from it all, but he couldnt leave his freinds. He set the cordinates for Dantiooine and took off.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

"Hey, Tog," she rapped the side of her new helmet with her knuckles, her face once again hidden from sight from the Jetii'se. "Listen in and don't be shy about butting in." Kita couldn't seem to signal in the Jawa over their hyperpsace routes.  She turned to the only "awake" Jetii in the ship. Garrison was busy occupying the kids, trying to get them to calm down. Kita knew she couldn't break down right now, she'd have time for that later.

"Whatcha wanna know? You're my CO, Rilk, same goes for you TenRe. You got  the stones to ask a question, I'll have an answer." She glanced over at TenRe, asleep. Maybe faking, if he was, he wasn't hidding his smile very well.

"I'm your CO?" asked Rilk.
"Yeah, all you shabla'yc Jettii are." Kita bit down on her sharp, wicked tongue. Until this Jedi proved he could be trusted, she sure wasn't going to open up to him.
As if reading her thoughts, Rilk responded with another question, "Why do you hate the Jedi? And why did you do to be defected from the Sith armada?"
Clever boy, Rilk. "I don't hate anyone, unless they give me a reason to. What I resent in you Force-weilders is that you placed yourselves in the most dominate postions without any thought to the rest of us. Just what gives you the right to take chrage? What makes you more special than say a Chiss? Or a Wookiee? A Rodian--"
"Or you Mandalorians?" Rilk
"I think of myself as a soldier for hire first, Mandalorian second. . .  if at all," Kita intoned in just a little more than a whisper.
"You didn't finish answering my questions." Rilk
"Oh, this is just rich. Getting lectured from a a goody-two-shoed Jedi. Well, you've got this going for you, you're not a coward. I defected from the Sith armada because Ursula saved my life when my Sith commander wouldn't lift a finger to save my brothers. I killed him. I don't regret what I've done, Jedi. I've never looked back, never wondered what would be different if I hadn't killed him."
"What happened?"
"I don't talk about that. Never." Kita
"You said--"
"I said I'd have an answer, I didn't say you'd like it," Kita countered.
There was a long pause before Rilk asked another question, "How does a Mandalorian come to be taking care of four Younglings?"
Kita paused for a moment, chewed thoughtfuly on a warra nut and took a small sip from her drink. I really shouldn't be drinking with children on board, poor example I'm setting for them. Plus, I've got to pilot here in awhile.
"I offended you, didn't I?" Rilk
"No, Girly Name. It just takes a moment to explain. I came from an earlier batch of an expirament(sp?). The Jedi Counsel on Coruscant wanted to have a certain type of Knight created for the coming wars. Half-Mandalorian, half-Jedi. I'm a null. Can't so much as lift a pebble. That was... 19 years ago, when they created me and my brothers. They left me to my own devices, you can't imagine how dissapointed they were. I joined the Sith, wounded and hurt, I thought I might to do some good in fighting those who created the monstrosities like me. These kids are the newest bunch. I'm supposed to teach them how to be Mandalorians, while Ursula was to integrate Jedi teachings. We were parteners, the Masters created a bond between us. . . Ursula is one of the clones from the first batch who could feel the Force. Anyway, I'll have to take them to Dantoinne... they can't be trained with a lone Mandalorian." Kita got to her feet at the sound of them coming out of their micro-jump. She paused behind Rilk's seat, "I'll need some help piloting the ship while I determine our route; feeling up to it?"

They say that dreamers are an extinct breed. I say they're wrong.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

"Well, I was really more interested in the cave system here...The jedi council has it's opinions I'm not found of."
"Concerning you of course."
TenRe walked down the loading ramp, the other two behind him.
"Who else?"
But of course there'd be no stopping that, not anything he could do anyway. Letting the others go on ahead Rilk and TenRe faded to the back of the parade. Quietly trying not to draw attention they looked more like body guards then Jedi. Entering the main hall however., would prove to be interesting.
"Master TenRe...back so soon from your mission?"
"I'm afraid not."
"Explain."
"My mission has yet to end."
He'd become the center of attention almost instantaneously. Either the council hated him or he was some precious pawn in their quote unquote plan.
"Then the Sith have arrived."
"Well, to be more precise, the Sith were already here."
Probably closer to hatred. He had doubt it could be anything else. Even the blind could see some things.
"As it stands, it seems there are more pressing matters to attend to. Have the younglings and...guests escorted to their rooms."
TenRe and Rilk were left behind. Forced to bear the full weight of the council's gaze.
"Your attendant Master Ten, he's familiar."
"He should, Rilk has that quality about him."
Everyone stood up, hands on their lightsabers. Valiantly or something.
"You dare bring a Sith here!"
"Where? I don't see any Sith...just us Jedi."
TenRe motioned for Rilk to step behind him, they weren't about to face the entire council by themselves.
"Once again your foolishness has brought on another problem. You've yet to change from your own days as a youngling."
"He's not a Sith, notice the lack of menacing aura. No deep shaded eyes filled with what you would call hate, nobodies died yet!"
They all sat down, distrustfully sending them away. TenRe and Rilk leaving the temple completely. The cave system was all this would be about hopefully. Ten had a greater plan ahead than some would expect, if only it worked.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

Kita paused outside the door of the Jawa's room and tossed a skin-pouch at him, "Spend it wisely; it's your pay for keeping the Younglings safe, and for sticking around." She didn't stay and wait for Tog to react; she glanced at her bare hand, the palm covered in notes to what she'd have to do before they left. Whenever that would be. It's going to kill me when I do this.
"Hey," she called to what must have been a Padawan. He turned, his green eyes large. "I'm not gonna hurt you. I just need to find out where. . ." she paused and glanced back at her palm. "Master Darius is. I'll pay you." The Padawan shook his head and made a no gesture with his hands. Kita growled in annoyance as she watched him run off.
"Mandalore's helm, we're not that violent."
"I'd lose the helmet," intoned a man's voice from above her. She looked up into the gnarled trees to see a light-robed Jedi sitting in the crook of a branch. "Good to see you're alive, Kita."
"Can't say the same, Master Darius." she stood looking up at him as if her hands were in her pockets and he were a piece of artwork. "Look, Ursula's--" The crazy Master hung upside down on the branch, and began to whistle. "I don't have time for this, Master."
"You haven't called me that in a long time, Kita," the Master took a look of ponderance on his dark face. "Ursula has fallen, and you need someone to raise the Younglings because you believe you cannot, am I right?"
Kita inhaled deeply and began to count to ten, she ran her hand over the top of her helmet. "You know you are, Master Darius. I haven't the time to play your games."
The Master Jedi looked hurt, "You used to love playing games--" Kita's fuse was running short. "I mean it's not everyday that a former student comes back to visit their teacher."
"Master, I'm sorry, but we're running short on time. I need to know that the Younglings will be safe while I'm-- we're at war." Master Darius jumped down from the tree, all planes of his face were serious now, his childish antics forgoten.
"I see that at some of my teachings found their way into your thick, Mandalorian skull." The wire-thin man reached up and rapted harshly on her helmet, making her wince from the vibrations that rattled her teeth. He took his cane from the base of the tree and motioned Kita to follow him. The last time they'd taken a walk, she'd been wearing the robes of a Padawan-learner; the Council was never one to let a resource go to waste.
"TenRe and Rilk walk down a path as Master and Learner, do they not? And that child, Garrison, he's become a son, correct? Yes, yes, yes, you are still so very easy to read." He paused beneath the open sky, ears pricked to the sound of yapping Kath-hounds, "That Jawa is a funny one, how the children love him. I do not think it wise to seperate them from their raiser. . . and I know how we and they distrust the Council, what to do, what to do?"
"You're not making any sense, Master Darius." Kita stood beside him, although she saw the same sky, she saw it through different eyes. She saw a battle raging above its surface, destroying those she'd become attatched to. She blinked and turned to her Master, who had hobbled farther down the path.
"It makes no sense that they kept you around, Kita, but I am glad they did. However there is this problem of the Younglings, who to raise them? You believe you cannot, and you believe a lie. You travel with three Jedi-- one an ex-Sith, shame only we sane will ever trust him again-- and that Jawa, who is just as normal as a Rancor in a Twi'lek's dancer-suit. You and Tog can teach the children how to fight with their bodies, and the Jedi with their minds." He tapped the cane twice on the ground, "I have come to my conclusion," he annonced to the world.
"And they are, Master?" Kita sighed, slightly embarassed.
"You shall keep the children, raise them with those who travel with you-- and I shall join this little trapize-group too, sounds like fun. I will talk to the Council, they wouldn't dare argue with me!" he left her, whistling that stupid tune again, heading off towards the Council.
"No person would be crazy enough to, Master Darius."

Tog walked around trying to find anysort of an armory or shop. He looked around for anyone to help him find what he was looking for. He found a service droid.<Excuse me droid do you happen to know where the nearest armory or wepon shop is? The droid replied and pointed in a direction and went back to his task. Tog walked down the hall in the direction that the droid pointed and soon found a small shop stand. <Excuse me do you have any G-32 rockets?> The shop keep looked down at Tog"I dont got any I heard that the farming community nearby has a pretty well stocked armory tho" Tog nodded<Thank you> Tog then walked off in search of someway to get to that farming community.
Tog soon found a delivery speeder making a food drop off at the temple, Tog walked over to it and talked to the driver.<Excuse me sir are you going to that community nearby?> The driver replied."Yes I am, why?" <Can Tog get a ride Tog will pay?> "Hmmmm for 50 credits you got yourself a deal" Tog mumbled at the price at handed the man 50 credits. "Allright little man when Im done here Ill give you a lift there."

Darth Morticus stood on the control bridge of his flagship Death's Hand He was heading to the core systems.
"Once I conquer the core systems the rest of the Republic will crumble and make way for the glorious rise of the Sith,"
"My liege," General Perez addressed the Dark Lord, "We ahve exited hyperspace and our coming upon Byys. Should I prepare the transports."
"Yes, prepare the transport. However, make sure that they equipped for stealth. I want them to have not hint of the attack. Also, prepare my armor," Darth Morticus told his faithful general. He intended to crush the core worlds personally.

Tog like the sandless breeze as he rode in the now empty delivery speeder. It took them several minutes to reach to town and he went straight to the barracks. He went in and the armory was easy to find, he asked the keeper if they sold wepons and he said yes. <You got G-32 rockets?> "Yes we do accutaly had them for a while never used them" <How much for all?> "You serious you want all of them?" <Yes> "Allright, 1000 credits" <A thousand?!?!> Tog checked his personal money and the money Kira gave him, it only scrapped up to about 700. <How much will I get for 700 cred?> "About 20 shells" <O tat why so much money so many shells> < Ill take it!> "Allright Ill be right back with your order" He dissapeared into the back and came back out with a rocket carrier filled to the rim with rockets. Tog payed the man and slid the carriear onto his back. He walked outside then realized he didnt have enough credits to buy a transport back to the onclave and night was coming fast. <Damn it! TenRe walked quietly on his staff, Rilk having gone off tp reset the crystal in his saber. Red to orange and all, he didn't know how long it would take on a tonfa style. But, that remained Rilk's problem. Having gone into the cave by himsef, came out and continued on. His ramblings having brought him to the little block of a center. Tapping Tog on the head as he passed.
"Well, if it isn't shorty. Need a mate little friend?"
The Jawa following along behind. Nodding quietly.
"I'll walk you to the Temple. It's not far."
<What about the animals?>
Ten shrugged, brushing his hand over a snarling Kath hound's snout. The beast falling to its knees asleep.
"We'll walk."
From there, it was an easy walk. Ten meeting Rilk at the door and splitting away from Tog. Rilk hadn't begun work, keeping the staff from locking the side door.
"You think it wise to reopen pandora's box so suddenly?"
"The council lacks backing power, we'll just have to use our resources here before continuing on."
TenRe and Rilk took the stairs up, seeing as how the steps didn't lead to apartments. No one would dare take them this late at night. And they happened to lead to a hallway directly linked to the docking facility. The two sitting on a bench in front of the door.
"Too bad they're so meager."
Ten nodded, resting his head against the wall.

<Kira who be tat?> Tog pointed his spoon at the jedi.
The jedi smiled"You can call me Darius"
<Ello Darius I'm T->
Darius cut Tog off. "Tog SaBaot I know who you are."
Tog looked shocked, he had never told anyone his family name before.<How do ju know me Family name?!>
Darius chuckled"The force tells me many things Tog Sabaot"
Tog mumbled very softly"Old Jedi Nerf Hearder" Dinner ended later on and soon it was time to get the younglings into bed. Tog had to chase them to their room, the young jedi abused their power and picked Tog up by the feet and held him in the air. After a while Tog just hanged their with a grim look on his face and his arms crossed.

He awoke a few hours later to a strange noise. He exited his room and and looked around. The noise was coming from down the hallway. Sleepily he shuffled down the hallway. He saw a droid acting very strangley, Tog walked up to it.
<Wa are ya doin?>
The droid turned around, it carried a small knife. Tog then saw it was no ordinary droid. It was a custom built droid with many upgrades. Tog looked behind it and saw a dead jedi. The droid wasted no time it stabed Tog in the stomach<Aieeeeeeeeeee!> Tog's scream woke the entire enclave.
