Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

"What if he doesn't survive?  He's worth a lot to me"  Boba to Vader

"The Empire will compensate you if he dies; PUT HIM IN!” Vader to Boba

All while Han and Leia stand right there listening.  One of the funniest moments in any of the movies for me  big_smile

"You set a code to live by.  I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted...I won't be laid a hand on.  I don't do these things to other men, and I require the same from them."

Vader: "No Luke, I am your father."

Luke: "No, that's not true. That's impossible!"

Vader: "Reach out with your feelings Luke. You know it to be true."

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

Han Solo, before leaving Yavin 4, said to Luke Skywalker "And may the Force be with you."

LEELA: I know you like cooking shows, but you're a robot. You don't even have a sense of taste!
BENDER: Honey, I wouldn't talk about taste if I was wearing a lime green tank top.

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

Return of jedi
Luke: I lived in this place!
Han: U'll die here... Convinient?)
PS: Miscuzi for mistakes, donnow how it's in english, as I saw only russian version)

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

in english, it's:

Luke: I used to live here, you know.
Han: You're gonna die here, you know. Convenient?

not far from the russian version.

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

That's a good one

Also from ROTJ:

Han: "How we doin'?"

Luke: "Same as always"

Han: "That bad, huh?"

"You set a code to live by.  I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted...I won't be laid a hand on.  I don't do these things to other men, and I require the same from them."

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

Han did seem to get the lions share of good lines.

Meat is murder...... tasty tasty murder.

I think he was intended to be the funny guy. I think Han Solo is the character that  just about every one likes for something

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

That and Han was sarcastic too. Sarcasm makes for some good lines in general.

"This party's over."

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

I know it's already been said but I love Obi-Wan Kenobi's:

"Who's more foolish? The fool or the fool who follows him?"

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

Yeah, that's good.  Funny but with real wisdom

Why isn't there more Vader?  He had some of the best lines

"“If this is a counselor’s ship, where is the ambassador?”   *sickening crunch*

and

"Commander, tear this ship apart until you’ve found those plans; and bring me the passengers, I want them ALIVE!!!"

Love those opening scenes with Vader

Pretty much everything with Vader is gold.

Yeah.  Most everything from Solo was good to

"Come on, BONE ROD!  You’ll be a permanent RESIDENT!!!"

and

"I don't trust him either. . .  but he is my friend"

Re: Favorite Star Wars Line

Actually it doesnt realy at all, but its still good. It focuses on the movies, not the EU, as the EU doesnt have much mythological value
