The United States Military serves the United States Constitution...

That's sortof the first part of it, I just looked up. Your verb there is kinda irregular.

For the sake of reference, the literal oath is the following: "I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

Anyway...

I knew what this oath said, my father was in the Army.

The way this oath is worded though, if the president does something that endangers the Constitution, then the president's authority is nullified.

Also the last part of the oath "according to the Uniform Code of Military Justice..." means that the men and women in the military are not covered by the Constitution, but rather the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Actually, the President can declare a state of emergency and scrap the Constitution at anytime.

Even al-Qaeda is confirming it.

Silly conspiracy theorists who say he's not dead simply because photos haven't been released.

Hi all, thought I'd drop by and say hi to everyone.
Boba is such a legend in the Star Wars world, do you think there will ever be a spin off of his own ??

Well, apart from the comics and fan films, I can only hope Fett can get his own feature film.

Jodo Kast then quickly puts Boba's armor on and snaps Flo's neck when she turned around to try and sell more insurance with her slapstick-comedy commercials

the picture isn't up now, but it was yesterday.

It appears that Lucasfilm Ltd. has sent the creators of Wookieepedia, which for me has been a very reliable source over the past few years, a notice of cease and desist. The website is being shut down on April 4.

Do you think it's a nasty April Fools joke or for real?

you should totally play fallout 3 for further references.

Harrison Ford is great! and to think he was just a stage carpenter who George Lucas discovered.

Through Francis Ford-Coppola.

Just recently I purchased The Force Unleashed II for the Wii and also read the graphic novel adaptation (featuring a helmet-less Boba, in fact the story centers on him).

My only complaint is the same that other people have, the story is shorter than the first game. Everything else is fabulous.

crap, i forgot about this. gotta wait til 12/27 now :\

well you hear wrong karson.

damn. ah well, if it beats the spambots, i'm fine with it.

Idk how many of you folks have already heard, or if this is technically the right topic, but today, the director The Empire Strikes Back, easily the best Star Wars film to date (and contender for greatest films of all time), Irvin Kershner, has passed on.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irvin_Kershner

he's not a terrible actor, he just wasn't really the Fett type. but he had the look.

Uh, Karson, there was no "politically correct" back then.

so that means god is not as great as he seems.

that

is

awesome

well, since the Sintas Vel storyline is non-canon, technically it doesn't matter?

Ah, Star Wars artwork will never cease to amaze me. Also Sadriel, that Slave I toy is a recolor of Jango Fett's Slave I from AOTC, I know because I have both that and the Slave I you were talking about (it came with Boba and Han in Carbonite).

He was to originally survive the fall (barely), only to be found and killed by Boba Fett moments later.
