Topic: Famous Star Wars people you have met

So far I have met David Prowse, met him twice, nice guy but in it for the money.
Kenny Baker, total a-hole, also twice, he was mean on both occasions.
Peter Mayhew, super kind, super nice, it is obvious that he is appreciative of being part of the SW universe.
Ray Park, Darth Maul, he was so super cool!
Mark Hamill, What can you say, the guy loves himself...
Jeremy...the absolute coolest, kindest, nicest, friendly guy of the bunch. He was so nice to me. He acted like he remembered me from myspace. I am sure he had no idea who I was ( a white guy meeting him in Tokyo) but he was so very nice. He took a picture with me holding the photo he signed.  I am really fat in the photo or I would post it.

Maybe this has been done before but I couldn't find it so please let me know who you have met and what your impression was...

Re: Famous Star Wars people you have met

I never have because the oppertunity has never arisen, but sometimes I think thats a good thing. Too many times you hear about people meeting their heroes and are left dissapointed from it. Maybe I'm being niave, but I don't want that to happen to me.

Re: Famous Star Wars people you have met

I've Met Peter too, twice. The 2nd time Ray Park was supposed to be joining the party ( it was at a 501st after con party), but he didn't end up making it.  Ive also met Tom Kane, who is the voice actor for Yoda most notably on the new Clone Wars. He was a super nice guy, very fun and surprised us with some of the character's he's voiced. (Like Tony the Tiger. Yeah I thought that was killer!)

Re: Famous Star Wars people you have met

Tony the Tiger? That's kinda cool. I've met  Prowse, who is pretty nice if you bring up that you remember him in Clockwork Orange too. Of course all actors like to be known for their work. And Jeremy B. who is beyond nice, as well as modest. Morrison, who is just fun and is like everyone's drinking buddy (always messing around with a dopey joke). Peter is the nicest guy, way nice, so nice it will make your teeth hurt.
In the non-Star Wars bracket I've also met danny glover, who is a nice guy ....At least when I met him, but at the time I was still in uniform and on duty (I was a cop for anyone not in the know). And recently I met Adam Baldwin (not to be confused with Alec Baldwin), who's a little off beat but really nice, very polite too. I like him because he played SWAT in some tv series he was in, and I was in a unit for about five years. We talked a lot about guns, LOL!

GOT ARMOR?

Re: Famous Star Wars people you have met

I've never met any famous people from Star Wars I need to go to one of these conventions and get into the loop.

Re: Famous Star Wars people you have met

Never met anyone famous from star wars but I was in a bar fight that started when a Buddy of mine spilled a pitcher of beer on Angus Young. After the fight was over we all had a drink with the band. It was the best birthday ever.
