no, all pennies are coins, but only some coins are pennys
Since most people are talking about quarters and such, the mods were just trying to help make the thread more open. I'm collecting the state quarters btw; and yew I prefer the shinny ones over the nasty ones

I like shiny pennies but also really old pennies (My grandad gave me two old pennies, one from 1797 and the other from 1806 )

As for being wierd. that all depends on your point of view and what you are gauging the wierdness against. Though being different is very challenging when you are school where too much importance is placed on fitting in. Once you are through this challenging time of your life you will be able to work on your confidence, find your place and be happy with it (I have )

lmao. yeah, it was a little embarrassing to get everyone's praise for that. wish i had that jewel for real. although i do have a few hairpins and other things with these kinds of decorations on them. i like these things.

it's funny, during World War II copper was used for bullets, so pennies were made out of steel and silver.
