Re: Bf/Gf

smile Thanks, guys. I know I'm thin, I just can't help feeling fat. My point was that for some, there isn't really a "good enough" point. I know I shouldn't think like that, but it's hard not to.

so i got complained at last night because my girlfriend decided that our relationship was getting boring because i talk about the same things every night any suggestions

If she didn't care about you, she wouldn't complain, she would let things go and just dump you. If she complains, it means you're important. She is trying to tell you something.

Seems to me like she's in lack of your attention. There might be an exterior factor bothering her too. That wouldn't help. But I think there's more.

I think she'd like to be in your f* spotlight, for once. It's not her losing interest in you, she feels like YOU lost interest in her. Maybe you don't feel you did, but it might be worth it to try spending a little while talking about HER for a change. With your FULL attention.

Tell her things that will make her feel interesting and attractive. Ask her about her past, about her secrets, about anything she never told you because you simply never asked. Women like to be listened to. It makes them feel important.

You can also ask if she'd like to do something new. An activity that she likes to do but that she never tried with you.

Thats sweet and cute. Keep her then. MIne is less understanding about the Mando thing.

You say that, but you once told me you never really told him about it.

Re: Bf/Gf

Well i'm honestly a bit shy to, because when he was like.. "what site are you on..?" and told him it was the Boba Fett Fan Club, and thats when he rolled his eyes and went "oooohh" and proceded to make some sort of sarcastic remark. Then there was the time i dare said "mandalorian princess" near him and got the same reaction. I don't think he approves. If i said anything in Mando'a around him... i'm sure we'd end up fighting over it.

Re: Bf/Gf

If he acts like that around what you love most... I wouldn't wanna be with him anymore. What kind of long-lasting relationship would that be if you had to hide something that's such a part of you?

Re: Bf/Gf

I don't hide it really, I just don't talk about it to him really, or my family. They don't get it either. They all know I'm hardcore into Star Wars and a total geek, and yet my BF is still with me. I mean he likes Star Wars too, don't get me wrong. He's just isn't a fandalorian.

Re: Bf/Gf

Conversion time. Start by getting him to read or play RepCom, especially Triple Zero. Thats how I got into them. Good old Kal'buir

I agree with Werda Verd, that's how i got into Mando'a too.

Re: Bf/Gf

seriously though,
my biggest concern when i got a girlfriend was what her reaction would be when she saw my boba fett cutout.
it went much better than expected.

I think it is amazing for me to have any, and one that is as accepting as he is. I have known people a lot less so. I know I shall never find one person that accepts all that I am, so I make due with close enough.

Guys can tend to be less understanding about these kinds of things. When your man doesn't like something you like, to hell what he thinks. If you think X is good, you may. To each their opinion.

Agreed, and its not that I like everything he does either. He'll never try to stop me from it and visa versa. (if he did that would be the end real fast.)

My ex read all the bios of Boba Fett from wikipedia and wookiepedia and starwars.com just so she knew who he was and why I liked him so much. We're in the process of 'making up'.
