Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

"Grounded, huh?" Alastor replied, getting to his feet. "You sound just like my old man. And your gonna end up like him too." Alastor charged his sword again, and charged for another strike. This punk was hiding behind a suit of armor, just like that girl in the cafe he almost pan-fried. He could take this chump.

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

Dusk grinned behind his helmet, and jumped to the side, letting the electrical guy, who he had been briefed on as to have been named Alastor (this being before the breakout) pass him by.

“Hey, I know my pun was bad, but you don’t have to be so drastic in your criticism.”  He zapped Alastor again, although he missed again.

“Stop hiding behind your big sword.  You don’t see me waving one around.  And I don’t go around frying poor people.”  Alastor attacked hi again, and struck, discharging a very uncomfortable urge of energy into his suit.  That’s it, Dusk thought.

He taped his right gauntlet, and a small magnesium canister was released from the hollow container, being propelled by a stream of CO2.  It hit the ground, and exploded.  It was about as bright as two flash-bangs, and lingered longer.  Dusk’s helmet’s optical sensors shut down for a second, acting as a shield to the flare, allowing him to retain his sight when it went off.  Alastor, and everyone else nearby, was temporarily blind.

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

M'Lure noticed the display of ability.  At first she had thought this was simple criminal comming to steal her belongings, or worse her research. It made sense now that she saw what they girl could do; it was the only way she could have entered into this house anyway. Unless you had the power to manipulate metal or flash travel there was very little one could do.

"I'm really sorry  about this, just let me leave and I'll be on my way, like nothing ever happened."  The girl asked, obviously scared.

"I could do that," M'Lure responded. "But I have to ask. When did you learn to do that? I am quite impressesed with that nifty little move."

"ummm..." The girl was still scared, not expecting the reaction she recieve.

M'Lure smiled again, this time friendly, and she used her soothing voice, choosing to ignore the others that had gathered by the doorway. They had formed a barrier between the door and the girl. It was the same tone she had used with the doctor.

"I'm sorry, where are my manners? We haven't been introduced. I'm M'Lure. As you can tell I have little tricks too."

Reluctantly the girl answered. "I'm Sky."

"Don't be scared now Sky. I don't hold it against you. I thought you were a petty thief, but now I know you're more special than that. You're brave to try and rob me. You have skill if you can get inside here too. I understand why you had to as well. Society does not accept our kind openly. Only if they need something do they feign tolerance.  You could join our group here. Do something importaint?" M'Lure paused to let her think about it.

She let Sky look around, at the Doctor, Lightshow, oddly enough in his boxers, and back to Flame.

"Ok. I'm In."

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

Burnout stood up, and wobbled dizzily on his feet.  It seemed everything had degenerated into a mass brawl.  Jack and Jericho were fighting, bad-suit-guy was fighting Dessie, and Darklight -er,  Dusk- was fighting the electric guy.  Knock one guy out for a couple minutes, and BAM. Everything blows up in your face.  As he straed in a daze at the fight, he noticed a figure slinking out through a cell that had been blasted open by one of Dusk's stray blasts.  He seemed to be heading for the exit.

Oh no you don't. He thought, and chased after the fleeing figure.

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

Alastor did not expect the magnesium flare.

"Makin' me fly blind, huh? Fine, this'll be just like drivin' at night without headlights. Just go really fast and try to hit everything."

Alastor dropped Bradburry for a moment, a built up a charge in his chest before releasing it. A  radial sphere erupted from the epicenter in his chest, knocking the metal man back.

"I can do this all day."

Shaun stopped, he felt something trying to gain entry to his mind. He had been trained in how to keep this from happening, ironically the training came from Andromeda. He put up his defenses, but the intruder persisted.

Flame could feel the person outside the door. He had mental defenses, but the mind was not one of a telepath. He wondered who had trained him."M'lure. There is someone outside the door." He pushed against the intruder's mind harder, trying to figure out who he was, and why he was here.

"Goodness.  Is it too much for a little quiet to make plans to further humanity? Thanks Flame. I'll go take care of it. And Lightshow, please, put some clothes on."

M'Lure walked to the door and violently forced it open. "What do you want?" She shouted at the man that had just raised his fist to knock on the door.

"Uh hello?" he responded. "I'm Shaun."

"Wait a minute. I know you. Former Andromedia member Shaun?" M'Lure asked.

"The very same, Ma'am."

"Ah then you must be here for a reason."

"Yes."

"Care to elaborate Shaun? I have things to do?"

"Let me come in and I will. I think there is much I can do for you." Shaun replied.

"Fine then." And M'Lure let Shaun in, but made the obvious gesture of quite forcfully shutting the door with her metal control.

With that, he slammed his door and went back to bed...

Jericho was almost having a hard time with this, he was a bit rusty when it comes to sword fighting. Blocking wasn't really his thing, but the moves Jack were pulling with such speed surprised him. Jericho dodged left and right, blocking most of the attacks until one swipe caught his forearm.

"Aww, did poor little Jericho get a little cut?"

"Watch the nose, next time I'll cut it off."

"What, and fry it with my intestines?"

"You need to learn when to shut up." Jericho Brought the longsword down hard, sliding the two pommel-to-pommel. Oh damn he's still got that wakizashi...
He quickly jerked the sword down, dodging the wakizashi, and sliced off half the back of Jack's Hobo trenchcoat...taking something shiny with it...

"My coat...NOOOOOOOO!!! You didn't just do that..."

"Oh yes, plus something extra." Jericho leveled his Gold Desert Eagle's aim at Jack's crotch. "I know what you fear."

"That's low.  A little too low.  I'd choose to say something witty but I'm sure we have some readers under age 10 here. So I will be the bigger man and refrain."

*sigh* "Yeah, you're probably right...plus I'd rather not waste the ammo."

"This IS my signature."

"Hey Jericho you want to play a game?"

"What?"

"Rochambeau.  It's easy I'll go first."

Jack delivered a kick to the crotch of Jericho who fell to the ground.

"See?  I told you it was easy.  I win."  Jericho managed to croak out a few words.

"You...little...punk!"

"Hey.  You hesitated.  What I did must have been ironic or something."

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

Anasazi and the girl had been engaged in a glorified staring contest, neither one making a move out of fear of the other one's unknown abilities. Anasazi was hesitant to engage this girl, and she was hesitant to engage him. So they just stood there, facing eachother, like during the standoff scene in a Western movie, only the viewer had paused the movie during the scene to go use the bathroom or something.

But when Jericho was delt a blow to his manhood, Anasazi threw caution to the wind.

"Jack, you little weasle! Was that really the most glamorous move you could muster?" Anasazi sent an elongated punch into the back of Jack's head, who took the blow but recovered quickly as usual.

"The most glamorous....well, actually, my most glamourous move is drowning my enemy in a pool of sequins, but since you guys caught me decided to fight me here, and not in my totally manly lair of awesomeness, that was the best I could do."

"Same old Jack." Anasazi moved in to engage the loudmouth.

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

Shaun looked around the room, most people would just be doing this to see what there was, but Shaun was looking for a different reason. Entrances, exits, defendable positions. Anything he could use to gain an advantage over a target. Secondly, his thought turned to the lizard-man. He had heard about this one. Some of the members of Andromeda spoke of him. That meant he was dangerous. He could have mixed loyalties. He suppressed these thoughts for now, in case the telepath was still in his head and he didn't know it. His hand unconsciously dropped to one of the two Heckler&Koch MP7A1s strapped to his legs. They were there because if he had to grab something fast, he would much rather prefer to shower his target with lead. His pistols were in the same area, lower down, all within easy reach. He didn't think he would need to use any of his weapons anyways. If he was attacked he could dispatch his attacker easily using Krav Maga. Still, he didnt want to take his chances with the lizard-man.

((I added two MP7A1s to his stuff, heres a link, hope you dont mind (all of his equipment can be found on Wikipedia.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP7))

Jack slowly paced around Anasazi.

"So.  You're here to kill me, I'm here to kill you.  I can do that."

"Kill?  Jack, I'm ashamed of you.  Killing is what I do as a villain."

"Pssh.  If we are being politically correct here I shall permanently metabolically disable you."

Suddenly an arm shot out to Jack clipping him across the chin.

"Woah.  That's interesting.  Come on do it again I dare you."

"Funny Jack.  I'm not stupid."

"Oh. But I am.  Enough to do this."

Jack ran up to Anasazi dodging limbs and bits of fire.  He stuck something in Anasazi's pocket and backed off a little bit.

Anasazi pulled the object out of his pocket and in his hand he held a grenade.

Jack wiggled the pin in his hand.

Anasazi opened his mouth.  "Oh %^&$!"

Dr. Luphineus was about to head back to sleep when he noticed something in M'Lure's hand.  It looked like some sort of genetic code.  He made his way over to her and snatched the paper.  His eyes rapidly went over the information.

"This is amazing!  What is this?!  Where did you get it?!"

A smile crept over her face.

"That's a genetic breakdown of your blood."

His face grew dark.

"Then I must find out how to get this thing out.  If it means killing myself, then so be it."

"Perhaps. I'll see what I can do."

M'Lure noticed that Shaun was carrying a load of firepower, and his hands were hovering in the area of a pair of holsters.

"Ah you won't need your guns here. They wouldn't do you much good with this bunch at least." she said to him. Shaun shifted uncomfortably. "Now tell me what someone like you is doing in a place like this."

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

Mr.Anasazi stared at the grenade as time seemed to slow to a crawl.

"Oh %^&$!" Was all he could think to say. Jack was an unpredictable opponent, the only thing one could expect from him was something unexpected.

Anasazi could have thrown the grenade back at Jack, but chances are he'd just deflect with some flashy move or just shoot it in the air. Instead, Anasazi turned away from Jericho and Alastor, who was still battling the man in the metal suit, and hugged the explosive as it went off.

The explosion rattled the detention floor of Andromeda HQ. Everyone who had been occupied in fisticuffs froze momentarily. From the cloud of smoke prodcued by the grenade, Mr. Anasazi stood, his shirt noticably damaged, large holes all over the front.

"Whas the shirt really that bad?" Mr. Anasazi said. His face looked very peculiar. Tiny flecks of gray could be seen all over  the fornt of his face, like chipped paint on a car.  The right side of his lips was missing, and metal teeth suspended in place by steel rods could be seen. A deep gash of silver came accross his right eye, which in itself resembled a red optic lens.

"HOLY SHIZZNITCUSS!!! Are you from the future?!?" Jack blurted randomly. "Did you get sent back in time to ice a hot dog vendor so his son won't grow up to accidently run over you creator's son's pet puppy when he grows up?"

"No, Jack. Afraid not. I'm not from the future. But I am here to save it. Sort of." As Anasazi talked, his metal teeth clicked together oddly. "Oh, and by the by..." The exposed Anasazi turned to the man in armor. "That's a copyright infringement."

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

Dusk, stunned, stared at the bad-suited figure.  So what, he was a robot?  Trying to save the future?  Sounded like something out of an old black and white Sci-Fi film.  And that last statement.

"Whaddaya mean, I've infringed a copyright?  I built this suit myself!"  Dusk was incredulous.

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

"You may have built the suit, but its general idea and design are greatly in dept to a certain...demonic associate of Andromeda who hasn't been seen in a while." Anasazi replied, his metal teeth clicking. He balled his hands into fists, should the fighting restart, and noticed that the skin in each palm had been blown off, revealing the metallic that had been hidden underneath.

"Well, that's great and all, but weren't we in the middle of soemthing, rocketman?" Alastor asked the metal suited hero.

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

"Oh.  Right.  We were in the middle of me kicking your electrified butt.  And exactly who built this design before?  The only one I know of who had a tech suit was called Oni, and his was far more advanced.  He also used a different style of design.  Speaking of which, ever since I got back, I haven't heard one sentence about him, even though he was no doubt one of the big-names in the villain business, according to my brother."

Dusk was truly confused.  He had, after all, been in Limbo while the fledgling Andromeda fought a certain demon, as the records showed.  After the celebration that followed, apparently, Oni and his friend Jericho had disappeared.  And as to why Jericho was here now, sans Oni, also presented an iota of confusion.  Sometimes, Dusk wondered whether it would have been wiser to stay in Limbo, and not have to keep up with the world's history in the last five years.

"Wait... you are a young, handsome, single supervillain. You were outside in your boxers, in the presence of an attractive female, teleporting cat burglar...and you choose to sleep? Whatswrongwityou?! GAH!"

He slapped himself hard on the forehead, and jumped out of bed. After getting dressed in a T-shirt and jeans, he stepped out into the hall and began looking for the new girl...

Shaun had explained what he was doing here, and M'lure had allowed him to wander the building. He paused, there was someone around the corner. He looked around quickly, looking through the hall of the war-torn building for any cover. There was nothing. His ghillie suit stood out a little to much anyways. He reached up and pulled the KM2000 from its strap on his chest. He spun around the corner, spinning his target around and wrapping his arm around the terrorist's neck, and bringing his knife up to the boys throat. The boy gasped, pulling Shaun back to the present. He let the boy go, quickly sheathing his KM2000. "You're lucky." He said, walking away, leaving Lightshow with a small cut on his neck.

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

Sky had taken to wandering the building, but not because she wanted to steal anything.  She felt odd, one minute she was there to steal any worldly possessions of the woman's, M'lure, and the next, she was part of the woman's team.  How odd it had been to be surrounded by a bunch of other people with powers; the lizard man, M'lure herself, and, if she remembered correctly, some guy in his boxers?  Just as she tried to remember the scene, she ran into the very same guy.  Speak of the devil, she thought to herself.

"Sorry bout that," she said.  The hallway they stood in was rather tight, so she decided to teleport to the other side, although she did this with a lot more precision than before, and with a lot less noise.  She was about to turn and walk off when the guy spoke, he looked only a couple years younger than her.

"Hey, I'm Seth, that's a pretty neat trick you have," he said, grinning slightly.

"Sky," she said, "and thanks, it comes in handy."  Once again she turned to walk off, when the guy, Seth spoke back.

"So, you seeing anyone?" he asked, keeping his voice smooth, but all the same, Sky was glad that some of her face was hidden, as she was now blushing a furious pink.

"Umm, I don't know, I guess not right now," she said, trying to find any excuse to switch the topic. "Hey, your bleeding, you should see a doctor," she said.  Well, at least this got the subject off of her, but he did have a cut on his neck that should get checked out...

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

In the past Desdemona would have found the sensation of being shot rather intriguing, right now though she was very glad to have the rapid healing factor as the bullets popped out of their wound tracks as her body healed.

Jack seemed very mad that she had been shot and she had to remember that she was no longer a spectre of a being. She was flesh and blood, something that she should not forget.

Desdemona studied her opponent who studied her in return. He seemed to be trying to gage her powers. Desdemona knew the best defence was surprise so she merely stood her ground as she watched him watching her. She was listening to Jack and Jericho’s banter in the background but her real attention was on Mr Anasazi.

Although Mr Anasazi seemed to get bored with her and turned on Jack, Desdemona didn’t really know why she stood and watched. Probably because real life and the feelings that came with it were so foreign. She felt her heart pumping strongly and her chest felt tight.

The explosion knocked her to the ground but her healing factor quickly rendered any wounds healed. She stood up and saw what the others saw, Mr Anasazi wasn’t quite human. But then none of them really were. Desdemona tightened her hands into fists and called to the underworld power, she felt it burn up her arms and through her body giving her extreme strength. With a move that surprised all she threw Mr Anasazi into the nearest wall. She turned to Jack, “I’m assuming that Mr Anasazi is what they call a jerk?”

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

Re: RPG- Superhumans 2: Anarchy

M'Lure went a got a cup of coffee from the kitchen in her manor. She always had a fresh pot on and she just loved the stuff.  She had to think about what Shaun had said. This was not information one should sit on, but rather act on and take advantage of. Apparently the fighting with Mr. Anasazi, Jericho and Alastor was causing quite the commotion over at Andromeda. She would let the strange assortment of characters that had gravitated to her rest and get to know each other. There will be plenty time for revenge and action soon enough. She remembered the man they were holding in the interogation room. So she found Flame to got check on him.

On her way to the lab to talk with the doctor she came across Lightshow holding his neck muttering something to himself.

"Is everything ok Lightshow?" M'Lure asked, perplexed by the behavior.

"Well I got this cut on my neck. Sky thought i should check it out."

M'Lure looked at the small but kind of messy cut on Lightshow. "How'd this happen?"

"Shaun ran into me around a corner upstairs. Didn't seem to act all to friendly if you catch my drift."

"Really?" She thought a moment. "Lets clean that up."

This was disturbling to M'Lure. She needed a put togther group, ready to do what it takes to accomplish what needs doing. She would talk to Shaun, and the group as a whole.
