Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Audrey looked at John in surprise. He wanted to know what to do? She didn’t know. For the last year she’d been running around Murk Valley trying to sate her hunger while not being caught.

It seemed that there were other vampires around. It was odd that she’d never come across any others until now. The one who had changed her, Valiant, had been an evil beast. He’s hunted her down and toyed with her. She’d been at the point of death when he thought it’d be fun to make her a vampire. Once it was done he’d left her on her own. Audrey didn’t really understand a lot about being a vampire. She knew she couldn’t go out in the sun as it burned her skin terribly and she knew that she had a terrible thirst for blood at sundown.

Audrey didn’t answer John’s question. Instead she posed one of her own, “How many vampires are there in Murk Valley?”

John shrugged, “Dunno. Lots probably.” He declined to tell her that he’d been helping reduce that population.

“It’s strange, you’re the first I’ve come across.” Audrey said as she looked at John’s wrist that was already healing. It was odd but then Audrey suspected that vampire saliva had some sort of healing agent in it.

John looked surprised by that. “What about the one that turned you? Didn’t they stay to instruct you in the ways of vampires?”

Audrey shook her head, “He left as soon as he finished toying with me. Turning me into a vampire was a big joke to him.”

“Who did it?” John asked with a dangerous tone in his voice.

“His name was Valiant. I thought it a poxy name but then he was a jerk, to say the least.” Audrey put in.

“Perhaps we should find Valiant.” John said as he looked off in the distance as if planning.

“Why? I’ve been trying to stay away from him. The guy is not right in the head.” Audrey said as she recalled his crazy eyes.

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

John couldent belive he was doing this, he was supposed to kill vampires, not unite them with others..

But... a very small voice in some distant part of his mind said.

But what? he asked himself.

She, so far at least, wasnt like the others, she had no idea how to survive, she was living in some crappy half-star motel, and she apparently needed help. "He could tell you how to survive,"John said, checking his gun. He took the weapon by the barrel, and held it out, handel first, to Audrey. "and you could have a bit of revenge."

"Well," Fort said to Daphne. "that all depends on what kind of demon it is. Right now I cant tell from the looks of the body. I need to run some tests on it first. When I send the results to Headquarters they'll tell me what kind of demon it is and then i'll know what to do. So, mind if she comes home with me today?" Fort asked Daphne, referencing the body on the floor.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Daphne didn’t miss the mention of headquarters. She wondered how many slayers there were. Perhaps she was unwise in agreeing to help him find Anita, but then she hadn’t had much choice. Daphne looked down at Tiffany’s body. “Believe me, nothing would make me happier than to know that Tiffany’s assisted in the defence against a demon who likes to kill werewolves.”

Nathaniel raise a brow but said nothing for a moment. He pulled a small sack from out of his coat somewhere. Daphne noticed it looked like it housed a small sleeping bag. As Nathaniel rolled it out she realised it was a body bag.

“I find it disturbing that you carry one of those on your person.” Daphne said as she watched him prepare to lift Tiffany into position.

“Just shut up and help me.” Nathaniel said.

“You didn’t say please.” Daphne replied as she moved to Tiffany’s feet.

“Fine then, please.” Nathaniel said between clenched teeth.

Daphne smiled, “That wasn’t so hard now was it?”

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Audrey took the gun and looked at it like it was a dead fish. “What am I supposed to do with this? As far as I can remember vampires don’t die by being shot.”

“Yeah but it certainly hurts.” John pointed out.

Audrey nodded, as she knew that for a fact. “Do you often kill other vampires?” Audrey asked, “I thought it would have been against some sort of moral code.”

John swallowed, what was he going to say? “I tend to live on the outer.”

Audrey smiled, “Ah so you’re a rebel.”

“You could say that,” John said as he looked out the windscreen.

Audrey looked at the gun again. “You know this might work if you dipped the bullets in holy water or is that just a myth?” Audrey remembered the drop of blood she tasted from the sword, “Oh wait, holy water must work. It did nasty things to my tongue. Do the other things work? You know stake through the heart, decapitation and garlic?”

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

"Oh wow, it is a dragon..." Griggs watched the creature puff smoke in his direction. "Eh, I'll be goin' now."
Griggs slowly backed away and darted off while keeping a watchful eye out for the dragon, but he did not follow. Once he reached the city limits, Griggs crammed most of his military equipment, the G36, Desert Eagle, and his mini-shotgun into the backpack hoping it would make him look a bit more inconspicuous. He then began to search the city for a hotel room in his budget.

"This IS my signature."

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

As Clara returned to the conclave she went to see Crispin. She had been disturbed to see Daphne with a slayer. Clara went to her room briefly as she transformed back into her human form. She dressed in a white blouse and red skirt.

She walked down the hall swiftly and saw Crispin watching the television with a few of the pack females. “Excuse me, Crispin. May I have a word?”

Crispin looked up and saw the look in her eyes. He gave a nod and stood much to the disappointment of the women around him. “What is it?” he asked as he approached Clara.

The walked along together. “I saw Daphne out in the forest. She was with a slayer. He tried to attack me but Daphne defended me. But then when he tried to turn on her she refused my help.”

Crispin took this in, it had to be Fortesque. “We have a very tenuous agreement with that particular slayer at the moment.”

“He’s half were, I could smell it. He also started to change when Daphne pinned him down. He seemed really angry about it, like he doesn’t want to change.” Clara told.

"The dipping of the bullets wouldent work, the water would evaporate. Not sure about garlic, but the stake through the heart works. So does a knife. Decapitation works as well."  He looked over at Audrey. "You know where we could start?"

Zan smiled to himself as the intruders ran off. "Finaly," he thought. "No more interruptions of my new morning." Zan flew off in the direction of his cave. As he flew back to his cave he passed over, one of the Werewolf dens, this one owned by Crispin. He decided to pay a visit, and find out if anything was happening today.

((Just to make Zans history clearer: Zan's parents were killed by slayers when he was stil a hatchling, Werewolves found him and was raised by them. But he now lives on his own in his cave. He views all the Werewolves as a whole and not as individual packs. He likes to help them whenever he can.))

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Fort said nothing at first at Daphne's comment. He just thought for a moment.

"You know, for being a werewolf... you are just, nicer than most lycans that is." He didn't know how to phrase it. He had met alot of werewolfs as his time as a slayer, and killed nearly all of them, naturally. They were always aggressive, always animalistic. Daphne was just...out of character.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

“How many have you actually spoken to? I doubt they’d be particularly happy knowing you were there to kill them.” Daphne pointed out. She didn’t mention that nearly all of her family were dead, such things made a person realise what was important in life.

The pair lifted Tiffany’s body and lowered it into the bag. As Nathaniel zipped it shut he looked up at her. “I’ve been attacked first you know.”

Daphne lifted a brow, “We are naturally territorial, but we also go through certain stages in life. Young werewolves are very aggressive. It’s like the need to hunt and kill is almost as vital as breathing.”

“I get the impression you’re passed that stage,” Nathaniel said as he watched her.

“I’ve been pasted that stage for many years now.” Daphne told.

“So how old are you exactly?” Nathaniel found himself asking.

“It’s not polite to ask a lady her age,” Daphne said teasingly.

Nathaniel hefted Tiffany’s body over his shoulder. “Fine don’t tell me then,” he said.

“Why does it matter?” Daphne asked. Then she thought about it, “Oh you’re trying to fit me into a category.”

"Yes, I believe that hunter has become a bit...estranged with his better half, so to speak." Crispin replied to Clara. "I believe he may,in fact, be at least partially part of the pack. If he is, then we shall not harm him until he strikes first."

Crispin noticed some displeasure in Clara's eyes. "And that is final, my dear."

Clara grumbled something not fit for print, for muttering "As you wish" and going away to tend to other business.

Crispin sniffed the air. He could vaguely make out the smell of brimstone and soot from far away. It appeared an old friend was coming in for a visit.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Nick found a suitable cafe, and settled down, ordering a hot chocolate to pass the time.  He paid the bill upon receiving his order; he never knew when he would have to leave in a hurry.  He had just finished another book, and had returned it to the library.  Nick had also finished off a large meal in a nearby restaurant, adn was looking for some rest and relaxation after the events of the morning.  When he got back to the pack, he would definitely have to talk to Paul and Loxley.  Well, maybe just Paul; Loxley might think Nick was trying to hit on Daphne, and tear him limb from limb.  And Nick was in no hurry to meet with an enraged werewolf.

He finished his drink  and left the cafe, stopping momentarily on the streets to watch a bit on the storefront TV's of a nearby electronics store.  There was some report about a disturbance in a motel the previous night, a strange attack on a patron of a nightclub, and something about a serial killer's newest victim.  Nick sighed.  Just another day in friendly Murk Valley, eh?

His walk took him out of the city, and into the forests, where he subconsciously made his way to his den.  After checking everything over, he moved out, and just began to walk, enjoying nature.  Presently, he caught a scent.  Or rather, three scents.  One he recognized as Daphne's, another was foreign, sort of part werewolf, part human, if that made sense, and the third was that of a vampire's, one he knew to be Tiffany.  The vamp's scent was odd, diluted almost, to seem nearly human.  Curious, he stealthily made his way in the direction of the scents.  As usual, his curiosity had gotten the better of him.

Paul snorted Griggs as he left.

Stupid coward.  But it couldn't all be blamed on Griggs.  Zan was pretty imposing.  I was trying to help.  And he does what everyone else does to me he brushes me off.  One day they'll see I was meant for so much more than Omega.  Paul thought to himself.  Paul shoved his hands in his pockets as he made his way back to the conclave.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

That surprised Daphne. “Well I guess it’s my turn to apologise for assumptions.” She remembered the photo in her pocket. As she moved her hand to her inside jacket pocket she saw Nathaniel suddenly tense, she paused. “I’ve got a photo,” Daphne clarified and watched as he relaxed somewhat.

She stepped forward and showed Nathaniel the photo. “This is Anita in her younger days.” Daphne looked between the photo and Nathaniel, “You know you have her eyes, well at least the same shape.” Daphne commented as she looked at his two different coloured eyes. It was not uncommon for a werewolf to have such features while for a human it was very rare.

“I get the impression that family is important to you,” Nathaniel commented.

Daphne tried to hide the pain she felt. Her brothers were all dead, two killed by slayers and one by the demon. She looked at Nathaniel, for all she knew he could have been one of the slayers that killed her brothers. Daphne pushed the thought from her mind. “Most of my family is dead,” she handed him the photo and turned away. “I’ll go search for Anita, her trail should still be pretty fresh.”

Daphne caught a whiff of Nick's scent and her desire to get away from the slayer increased. She would protect her pack members.

"Alright," He replied. He looked around for a moment...thought he smelled something...

"I'll take the body back to the motel where I have a scanner that can analize it. I'll call you afterwards with the news. If you find Anita...then, well...you know where to find me." Fort said as he lifted the body bag over his shoulder with ease and headed towards town.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

The stranger left, along with Tiffany, apparently, which provoked a question.  What the heck would a vamp be doing talking to a lycan and a halfling?  The stranger passed his hiding spot, and Nick caught sight of the bag slung over his shoulder.  That made sense; they had caught a diluted vamp spying on their territory, knocked her out, and were shipping her back to town.  Simple.  Nonetheless, he stayed in hiding, even though the danger was past, and he continued to observe.  He knew that Daphne had caught his scent, but he wanted to see why this meeting had been caleld, and he wanted to find out what was going on.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Daphne gave the pretence of walking away. Once Nathaniel was out of sight she turned and made for Nick’s hiding place. “You can come out now,” she stated.

Nick rose to his feet, “What’s going on?”

“We found another weird body. This time it was Tiffany.” Daphne explained.

Nick nodded that made sense, “Who else was with you?”

Daphne cringed as she’d hoped Nick hadn’t sensed Nathaniel’s presence. “It was a half-wolf. He’s potentially one of ours.”

“What do you mean?” Nick asked.

“We think he’s Anita’s son,” Daphne said quietly.

“Who exactly is we?” Nick questioned as he eyed her carefully.

“Crispin and I. The half-wolf smells remarkably like Anita.” Daphne told as she looked back to where Nathaniel had gone.

Nick nodded, as he wasn’t going to mess in Crispin’s business. He was the alpha and what he said was what was done. “So what now?”

“I’m going looking for Anita, you can come along if you like.” Daphne offered, an extra nose would be helpful.

Nick nodded.  It was advantageous to work as a team, and besides, this way they would be helping the alpha which was always a big plus.  It's not like he was doing anything pressing at the moment anyways.

"Sure, I'll tag along.  Lead on."

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

((Sure Kaster, we're in need of vampires if that helps))

Daphne led Nick back to where she’d last scented Anita. “I’ll shift into wolf form.” Daphne said as she undressed and handed Nick her clothes. Nick didn’t look particularly surprised no one liked ruining a good set of clothes. Daphne transformed into her wolf form and began sniffing the ground. It only took her moments to find Anita’s scent and start to track her.

Nick kept up the pace also scenting the air for confirmation. They followed the trail for an hour and it led them back to the water hole where Daphne had originally started. Nick spotted Anita at the water hole, still in wolf form. Daphne howled to let Anita know she was part of the pack. Anita howled back in response.

Daphne and Nick approached her and both she-wolves shifted into human form. Nick handed Daphne her clothes and averted his eyes from Anita in respect.

“Why do you seek me out?” Anita asked as her honey coloured hair fell in waves around her elfin shaped face. As Daphne looked her in the eyes she could definitely see the resemblance to Nathaniel.

“I have come across a half-wolf that smells remarkably like your scent and has eyes very similar to yours. I was wondering if he was related?” Daphne told.

Anita looked surprise, her eyes slightly haunted. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“He wants to meet you,” Daphne said.

Anita looked flustered, “Why would he want to meet me?”

“Because he’s never known his mother.” Daphne explained.

“What’s that got to do with me?” Anita said as she paced looking agitated.

“You’re his mother, aren’t you?” Daphne questioned hoping she wasn’t about to be attacked.

Anita suddenly shifted back into her wolf form and made a run for it.

Clara had been disappointed at Crispin’s decision to leave the half-wolf slayer alone. Clara could smell that he was trouble. As Clara walked away from Crispin she realised she was nearing Loxley’s quarters. She smiled to herself, although it was clear to everyone that Daphne was not interested in Loxley, he seemed blind to it. Now Clara had something she could use to convince Loxley that he should be with her for the Luna Eclipse.

Raising a hand, Clara knocked on the door. She heard the scuffle of movement behind the door and then it opened. Loxley looked terrible, his eyes had dark shadows beneath them, his face was covered with stubble and he had a defeated look in his eyes that hadn’t been there yesterday.

“You don’t look so good,” Clara stated as she pushed her way inside.

Loxley stood back and let her do so then he seemed to become angry. “What are you doing here?”

“I just came for a chat,” Clara said innocently.

“You’ve ruined my chances with Daphne,” Loxley growled as he sat on the edge of his bed glaring at her.

“You never had any chance with her. Besides you kissed me as much as I kissed you.” Clara pointed out.

Loxley turned his head and ignored the comment. “You should leave.”

Clara sat down next to him and crossed her legs elegantly. “Look Loxley I came here to tell you something. I saw Daphne in the forest today and she’s paired up with a slayer. Not only that he’s a half-were.”

“What!” Loxley said as he rose to his feet.

“I’m guessing that she’s decided she wants someone dangerous as her partner for the Luna Eclipse.” Clara said knowing it was completely untrue.

“I’ll kill him. I’ll rip every bone out of his body and drink his blood.” Loxley vowed.

Clara waved a hand at him, “Don’t be so dramatic. Besides why worry about her when you’ve got me.”

Loxley glared at her and she decided to stand. Loxley came at her so fast she barely had time to brace herself. Grabbing Clara by the throat Loxley pinned her to he wall. “Why would I want a pathetic excuse of a she-wolf like you? You can’t even defend yourself.”

Clara shifted into her humanoid wolf form and threw him across the room. “Pathetic? You’re the pathetic one, wanting a female who despises you. Forget it I’ll find a better male than you.” Clara raked a claw across his face, “I prefer my men sane.”

Loxley bit at her arm in response but she pulled away. “Get out of here you piece of filth.” Loxley snarled as he put on a clean shirt and jeans. He was going hunting for the half-wolf.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

((Thanks))

Name: Michael Mort
Species: Vampire
Sex: Male
Age: Regular Vampire-45
Appearance: Looks to be in his twenties, wears a black bandana around his head, black pants, black boots, black sport gloves, black shirt, and has a black trench coat with a white cross on it (the cross keeps him in pain so he won't be concerned about feeding)
Weapons: A silver inlaid shoto, and a silenced revolver (with silver bullets of course)
Personality: Usually quite neutral, unless provoked, is quite sarcastic at times, and isn't 100% loyal to the vampire conclave.  In his spare time he hunts werewolves.

Michael woke up to the sound of the church bells, which rang at 9:00 p.m.  He quickly got on his coat, and immediately was felt with a surge of pain.... which was a good thing, if that makes any sense.  He walked over to his house nearby, and got himself a few pieces of toast to have for breakfast.  Once he finished eating, he decided to look around town for any werewolves to hunt.  He jumped from his house window to the building adjacent of it, and started to crawl up the side. When he got on top, he gazed into the forest, looking for any sign of movement.

As Paul walked back to the conclave he heard a bunch of commotion coming from Loxley's place.  He approached the house to see what was the matter but almost had the door smashed in his face as Clara in her wolf humanoid form stormed out.  Secretly Paul adored her.  But who would give an Omega a second look?

"Hey Clara.  Loxley giving you a hard time?"
