"Yes,"said Vrook.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Utath felt somewhat relieved. "I know this is going to sound bad, but his death is probably a good thing on our part. I don't think he was intending on letting us live, if you know what I mean."

((I don't see why not))

Demagol was beginning to see spots, he would have to get out of the strangle hold soon. Or he too would join Gahl among the dead.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

((Indeed, as for romance there's a budding one between Utath and Rekk. Unless you want to throw in a love triangle tongue ))

Utath nodded at Vrook's suggestion. "I'd love to sleep. Maybe we can on the trip to the sea base."

"I'd actually like a bed," Vrook said and Utath noticed the dark circles under his eyes.

"Okay, we'll find somewhere to stay when we get there." Utath agreed.

The trio found themselves a ship and a Selkath navigator. The trip took half an hour and Utath took the opportunity to close her eyes and rest. It was only as the sea ship came to dock that Utath woke and found that she'd nuzzled up against Rekk's shoulder in her sleep. She smiled at him feeling a little embarrassed.

Vrook had also been asleep and came awake with a start.

The trio then disembarked into the sea port. Utath immediately went in search of accommodation, the short sleep on the sea ship and made her realise just how tired she was. Utath was annoyed when she found out there was only one motel apartment free and that it contained a double bed and a single bed. But it was all that was available so the trio would have to make do.

"Okay, I found somewhere. It's not the best but it's all that's available. We're in room 103." Utath said as she led Rekk and Vrook to the apartment. "Unfortunately there's only a double bed and single bed."

((Maybe we should kick the Utath/Rekk thing up a notch? tongue

Actually, I think a "rival" of sort, someone that tries to get between the two, would be interesting. Overdone, but at least it'll add some drama to the RP, you know?))

Vrook shook his head. "I prefer to stay above water."

"Well then, looks like we'll be crammed in here for the night. I hope there's a couch of some sort." Utath said as she opened the door. She had no such luck. "Guess we'll be taking turns when it comes to sleep."

"We're adults I'm sure we can handle it." Rekk said trying to hide a smirk.

"I see," Said Utath as she closed the door behind her.

Vrook turned on the holovid, "Looks like our carnage made the news."

"I get the double bed!" Rekk teased, smiling as he jumped on the bed. Utath and Vrook just glared at him. "Okay fine, we'll take turns," He pouted, climbing off the bed.

"Oh great, we were made public. The one thing we were trying to avoid," Rekk said, looking over Vrook's shoulder. "To add insult to injury, they didn't capture my good side either."

"Looks like we may have to hide here, until everything calms down. I give it at least ten years." Rekk said, sitting down on the floor by the Holo.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"Be thankful that they're distance shots. I think the Sith copped more camera time then we did." Utath pointed out. "Besides most of this footage is of what we left in our wake, or I should say in your wake as I didn't do much."

"You had a grenade," Rekk pointed out.

Utath nodded, "Well I'm going to have a shower."

Rekk raised a brow, "Need me to wash your back?"

"Hardly," Utath said, enjoying their playful banter.

Once in the 'fresher Utath was able to look at herself naked in the mirror. She had a lot of bruises and her shoulder was especially black from the dislocation. She looked at her leg, there was barely a scar where Rekk had healed it. She wondered if he could get rid of the bruising as well.

Sick of seeing her own naked form, Utath got into the shower and relaxed under the warm water. She washed her hair, getting rid of the small bits of debris from the various explosions and fights she'd been in. When she got out of the shower she put on a robe that was supplied. She really needed to wash her clothes, then she'd have to mend the holes.

She walked out of the 'fresher with her hair twisted into a towel on her head.

"Nice look," said Vrook.

Utath smiled half-heartedly, "Thanks Vrook. I hardly think I look my best. Check out my shoulder," Utath said as she pushed aside the neck of her robe to expose her bruised shoulder.

"Ouch, I can help fix that." Vrook said starting to stand up.

Vrook took his force heal to the bruised shoulder.
It healed.
"I am not doing this again," said Vrook sourly.

Rekk was watching them closely, jealousy welling up in him. It took all his will to convince himself that he was just healing her...nothing else....

"You're damn right you're not doing that again," He mumbled, resting his chin on his drawn up knees and wrapping his arms around his shins. "That's my job."

((Jealous boy...:P ))

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Demagol cut the graple cable with the precision laser on his gauntlet, freeing himself from suffication.
"I hate it when that happens." He pulled a permacrete detonator out of the pouch on his belt, armed it, and stuck it to Aphotic's chest plate. "Heh heh heh *cough* Try and get out of that one, that suff sticks to metal like you wouldn't believe."

"Wha? You think this mere little thing can kill me? Think again!" Aphotic tried to pull the detonator of his chest plate, but it stuck to his hands.

"No, but it will sure as hell slow you down." Demagol replied as he walked off, reloading his pistol. "Oh, by the way, don't touch the blue button. That will make it go off, The red one disarms it."

"How stupid does he think I am?" Instead, Aphotic pushes the blue button...

"This IS my signature."

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Vrook was next to have a shower. Utath piled her clothes into the washing machine provided and went to sit next to Rekk on the double bed. "Have they stopped showing the footage on the holovids?"

Rekk shrugged, "They seem to show it ever few minutes, I think we're on the news channel."

Utath let out a sigh, "Is it obvious that it's us?"

Rekk shook his head, "No as you said before the shots of us are taken from a fair distance."

Utath felt relieved, then wondered if Rekk was okay, "Did you suffer any wounds?"

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Kain walked through the sith base, he had a cloaking device on, and he had seen everything. He was following the jedi, which was taking a while because he didnt have a speeder. It was made much easier, because some idiot had planted a bug on one of them. It wasnt encrypted, so Kain could follow it easily.

"Me? Nah...I mean, nothing too bad." He shifted, laying the side of his head on his knees, turned away from Utath. "How about you?" He asked, a tinge of jealosy tainting his voice. "Did you get healed okay?"

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"Yeah I think so. I've very impressed with the job you did on my leg, I've only got a tiny scar." Utath told as she showed Rekk his handy work.

Rekk turned back to look at her. His finger gently traced the scar. "I should have done better."

Utath smiled, "Oh well it'll give me something to remind me of you."

((Aphotic isn't stupid and I'd try not to control others people too much they might get a little anoid at you making then blow up insted of taking off the armor and throwing it at you. *hint hint*))

Aphotic KNEW that Demagol wanted to blow him up and that most likely both the buttons were armed. So he pushed the blue button...AFTER grabbing Demagol and holding him close. Aphotic whispered into Demagol's ear-"Don't take me for a fool."

They were close. Kain guessed right behind this door. He deactivated his cloak, pulled out his saber, but did not activate it, knocked on the door, and stepped back, his black robes swishishing slightly.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"What kind of surprise is it?" Rekk asked.  "Oh, something involving LJ Series Patrol Droids that the city uses as security force."  Que replied.  "After our first meeting with one, I figured that they'd be a handy asset to control.  I took some, well, most of my winnings and visited a local authority here.  They were only to glad to give me the command codes.  I've even tested it just to be sure I got my moneys worth."  The news that was flickering in the background changed: "And in other news, a few figures who were rumored to be allied with the sith were brutally beaten to death by a few LJ Series Patrol Droids.  City police chalk the incident up to hackers.  Viewer discretion is advised..."  Utath grew pail as she saw the footage.  Rekk turned away, commenting "How did they get a stun stick there?" Que just smiled and said "Well, isn't someone going to answer the door?"

The smoke began to clear to show two figures, one standing and the other lying on the floor some distance away.  Aphotic's armor had a large hole in the chest where one could clearly see his body regenerating.  Demagol was lying in the rubble, badly scorched and still phased by the blast.  Aphotic began to approach the figure, preparing to finish the fight when he was interrupted by a metallic voice.  "Target sited." it droned, its voice changing to play a prerecorded  message: "Hello there.  Bet you didn't see this coming."  The voice changed back as the  LJ Series Patrol Droid unloaded its missles at the two figures "Unleashing Hell..."

Incoming.

All for one, and that one is me!
