Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

"Psh. I bet you would. You'll do anything to try and kill something, you bloodthirsty psyco. You're worse than a damned Vampire. Err...the ones we are hunting, I mean."  Henry stated. "But what will she do, eh? Kill us? I doubt it. The Werewolf Lady will most likely see that eliminating us will is not her goal. In fact, she might even see it as making things harder. After all, we're hunters too."

"This IS my signature."

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Lizzie lowered her weapon. "She's not going to harm us," She whispered to James.

He nodded and stepped forward, ready to speak to the other werewolf. "Why do you follow us, sister?"

The female werewolf blinked, seemly surprised by James' talk of family. "I want to hunt vampires, why do you travel with one?"

James tilted his head sideways and glanced back at Lizzie, "She is different to the others. The evil taint has not touched her as yet."

"But vampires have tried to control our kind in the past." The female pointed out.

James shrugged, "That was the past, we are strong now. Besides do you feel as though you are being controlled?"

The female werewolf shrugged. "Not really, but perhaps they are extra powerful."

James shook his head. "They say if you are under the control of a vampire that you have no free thought of your own, you only witness what you do without any control."

"The vampire you travel with may have poisoned your mind with such rubbish." The female werewolf stated.

Lizzie spoke up, "And why would I do that? What would I gain from mind-control that I can't get with simple understanding and kindness to those who seek the same goal I seek?"

"I don't understand your methods or your reasons, vampire. I just know that werewolves and vampires do not walk the same path. Vampires always believe that they deserve the high road while we should travel the low road." The were hissed.

Lizzie shrugged, "I'm hardly high and mighty standing here in my undergarments." Once again Asher blushed.

James spoke again. "We want to kill the evil vampires that destroy lives of not only adults, but children, even whole families. Lizzie wants to help us, she was a victim herself. She could have turned into a crazed killer like the rest of her kind but she didn't."

"She still could," The female werewolf replied.

"Perhaps," James said quietly.

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Louder this time, James stated "And if she does, we will deal with it then. There is no point fearing what could be now."

"But how do you know you can trust her?" the other of his kind asked.

"How do we know we can trust you?" James defended. "Now, if you wish to join us, you may. If not, do not follow us."

take it easy baby take it as it comes

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Voctoria lowered her hands. "I wish to join you, just don't order me around," She stated, eyes flashing momentarily. She eyed the Vampire before stopping.

"You can trust me. If you couldn't, you would've known by now because at least one of you would be dead all ready," She said, answering the question she was asked.

"Just lead the way, I'll follow and do what I can," She bowed slightly, keeping on the alert for any sudden movements.

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Michael nodded to the newcomer and suggested that they continue on. He kept his hand close to his pistol, incase something was waiting, or she made any hostile movements.

D tagged along with the others, keeping his nerve ready to pull out his sword and cut down anybody.

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Silence fell across the group as they continued to trudge along behind James' lead. Lizzie stayed close, she checked the others behind her every so often so they didn't suspect her gift.

Eventually the trees thinned out and a once grand mansion stood before them. The shutter hung loosely from their hinges and squeaked in the breeze. The front door was slightly ajar and a vine grew from outside to the inside. The place looked abandon, but it didn't feel it.

"This isnt right....somthings wrong" Michael said quietly he looked around. He had felt nervous since they had been here.  Like somthing was watching them, and he kept hearing things.

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

"Bull. There's nothing "wrong" with my house. Exept the burned-down part, anyway. My brother Edward is the one to blame for that." Henry smirked. "It's quite elegant on the inside...trust me."

"This IS my signature."

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

"Hmph. Doesn't look too bad from here." D said as the group stood outside Henry's house.
'That burned down part is quite nasty though.' Said a strange voice that seemed to emulate from D's wrist. The others turned to look at him.
"What the hell was that voice?" Henry questioned with a bit of fright in his voice.
"That? Oh, well it's complicated, so I'll explain later." D said and started to make his way to the front door.

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Lizzie was hesitant to go forward but it seemed the D had made their decision for them. Lizzie turned to James, "Did you know that Henry owned the mansion?"

"I'd heard a rumour but had no idea if was true." James told.

Lizzie nodded and reached out with her mind, she shuddered and quickly withdrew. "Bad things lurk in dark places," she said quietly.

"Is that some sort of warning?" The female werewolf asked.

Lizzie frowned, "Yeah I guess it is."

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Asher proceeded with the rest of the group, musing about his teammates as he walked. A trigger happy lunatic, a two vicious werewolves, one of which was probably seething with vengeance, a vampiress who may have Asher under her spell, a dhampir with two voices, and the very man who owns their target's mansion.

"Battle not with monsters, lest ye become one too." He mumbled to himself.

"wuzzat now?" Michael piped in.

"Oh, nothing. Just something a friend of mine once told me."

"Huh. What's it supposed to mean?"

"No matter who you're fighting, be careful not to lose your morals. Sort of my philosophy on life."

"Right."

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Michael was slightly less nervous now, but that voice was odd, it had sligtly unnerved him, it seemed....unnatural, but then agian, he was a vampire hunter traveling in a group that included a vapire and two werewolfs.

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

As they neared the door they all jumped in surprise as a high pitched scream echoed through the mansion. All stood with weapons raised if they had them.

"I think we're at the right place." Lizzie whispered to her companions.

"Perhaps we should split up?" Victoria suggested.

"Do you have a death wish?" Asher asked.

Lizzie put a finger to her lips. "There's enough of us to split into to two groups. As one group we'd be too easier target."

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

"So, who's going in first?" D said as they all started at the house after hearing the scream. He thought to himself 'Hmm, wonder if anybody lives in there or it's haunted?'

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

"Hmm...I suggest we get going. D, Michael, Henry, come with me. The 4 of us are used to wiroking with eachother by now." Asher turned his gaze towards the other 3 comrades.  "Victoria, I think you would do well with James. And Lizzie....I trust you can keep her under control if things get out of hand. Any objections?"

"I had a great idea." Michael says "Its a gun, like a rifle but it shoots automaticly, all you need to do is hold down the trigger."

((??? That kinda came out of left field. I think maybe you thought I said suggestions. Asher was asking if anyone had a problem with their temas, not if anyone had any ideas.))

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

"Nope, nothing wrong here." D was already half-way to the door when the others moved.
"Damn, this thing is stuck. Hold on just a moment." With a quick flash of silver, it took a few moments for the others to realize that D had taken out his longsword, cut through the handle, and stuck his sword back in its sheath before the handle fell to the ground.

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

Victoria shook her head. "No, no problem," She answered. All she was worried about was that gun idea at the moment. It sounded far fetched to her, but she wasn't the one planning attacks. All she was there for was so she could kill some Vampires.

"It's only a house. What could be creepy about it?" D said with a smile as he waltzed into the house with not a look or feeling of terror across his face.

Re: Vampire Hunt RPG

"Hey, im going into a building, in the middle of the night, with someone who almost killed me less than half an hour ago, and ive had some bad experiences with situations like this" Michael said angrilly.

"I'll bet I've had worse." D said, and with that an echo only remained of his words as he seemingly disappeared into the house.
