I'm reading the "Bounty Hunter Wars" trilogy now and Dengar comes out as a bleeding heart compared to Boba Fett. Quite a change from how he was portrayed in "Tales in the Bounty Hunters".

But then, just about everyone human comes out as a bleeding heart compared to Boba Fett. Isn't that why we love him?

I must admit while I enjoyed the bounty hunter wars I was disappointed in Dengars portrayal.

I thought he was so funky in tales of the bounty hunter and I really enjoyed reading his story. I was looking forward to reading about him and Boba working together but it was not as I expected it to be sad

Re: Dengar

I never noticed Dengar untill I read the books with him in them, that's when I noticed he was in ESB. Can't say I understand the tuban thing he wears though, is it a throwback to Calo Nord (lol)?

Re: Dengar

Calo Nord might have it as a throwback to Dengar; Dengar was created before Calo.

take it easy baby take it as it comes

Yes that is true. But Calo Nord (in the realm of the SW universe) was thousands of years before Dengar. That's the sense in which I meant it.

I thought the bandage was to cover scars from the surgery the Empire did to him to make his reflexes better and take away emotions ...

Well, that was part of it. The other part was to hide his Cybernetic link.

Re: Dengar

Dengar.........man kinda forgot about him i feel sory for that guy, all unemotional, like a robot or somthing, and not some human-cyborg relations thing either, more like a battle droid.

allegedly died on the sail barrage.

unfortunately the writers of the following EU novels dont have the same
attention to detail as you and I, so we have this thing call a rift in continuity.

have i complained about starwars continuity lately? ok-ill relent.

-Boba Fett
-Jango Fett
-Bossk

Re: Dengar

han solo's steering vane on his swoop went into the back of dengar's head, sending him flying into the glass plants. that's cool, i never saw dengar in jabba's palace. I thought i would have remembered bossk. btw, dengar did *not* die on the sail barge, and neither did bossk, read the end of the Mandalorian Armor, part one of the Bounty Hunter Wars. Good fett book, and good book in general, havent got the other two yet, but not as good as Tales of the Bounty Hunters. It is required reading for any fett fans, and I'm sure that that's why we're all here.
