Too ture.  Eddie Brock will make a comeback.  No one else is competent enough to have the venom symbiote on.

I agree except for the part about Eddie making a comeback. He's dead, you can see his body get ripped apart in the explosion....

Re: Spider-Man 3

I really hate to say this and if it is true i will hate the movies but it could be like the Goblin/Harry scenario...Blonde girl whose name escapes me finds out spiderman killer her Ediie broch and seeks revenge becoming the next venom ( super dumb) steals the symbiot from Connor ( he turns into lizard man and seeks revenge unsuccessfully) and blah blah. that would be a very bad scenario but with film writers these days... ya never know witht hem and their "reoccuring" scenarios

As pointed out, the symbiot is not dead. Connors still has some.

unless the symbiot is able to devide its cells at a rapid rate, its not enough. Tho i dont know if it can devide its cells, see I have a life to tend to so i dont got time to look.

If your life was so important to you, you wouldn't spend time here like you do.

ha ha I'm on here the least out of every one, I come on here maybe once every couple weeks.

Your god won't be there to save you, or maybe I will

So? That doesn't mean you have much of a life. Not one worth saying "oh I have a life to tend to" at least. In fact I don't think anyone here can say that. And don't try exagerrating you're on at least once or twice a week.

Re: Spider-Man 3

Jesse is very rarely on. Anyways, let us get back on topic.

take it easy baby take it as it comes

Re: Spider-Man 3

I'm on daily. Back on topic, I heard somewhere that Chameleon, Kraven and Lizard would be the villians of Spider-Man 4, and Spider-Man 5 would have the Vulture.

I still doubt he has much of a life.

Where did you hear that? Anyways Vulture sucks. In my opinion they should have put the villains in the order of how deadly they are, from weakest to strongest. In thay case the 1st villain would've been either Rhino, Chameleon, Vulture, or Kraven.

I honestly can't remember. It was on some movie new site. I thought it would be on my drop-down bar, but my computer clears it randomly so it's gone. Crap. I'll get back to you on that.

I gotta say This movie IZ THA BOOOOOMB!!!! big_smile big_smile
I loved this movie no doubt, but my favorite charecter, the ever vicious venom, could hve been a little bigger though.......but thats not enough to evade the fact that this was a TOTALLY awesome movie. Im geekin over it. big_smile
Sorry if the question was already brought up before and I missed it somehow, but what do you all think about Topher playing the role of Venom??
In a Surprising way, he seemed to fit the part with his sarcasm face remarks and so-on......but what do ya'll think?

while i think topher is rising star, and his dead pan delivery made for many comical moments on "that 70's show", i thought he was very wrong for venom. i did not find his voice to fit the character. or his stature.

what i also found odd was that they reference "eddie"(brock) in the first movie-but then re-introduce him
in 3. sort of muddles the continuity. very minor...i realize.

When did they reference him in the 1st one? And about Topher, even though the comic incarnation was buffer, I feel Topher did a great job playing Venom. He didn't make him look stupid, made him a believable character with good reasons ( sort-of) for doing what he did, and I thought he was pretty funny ( I'm Edward Brock Jr sir.......and, I'm dating your daughter....). The whole audience cracked up at it. Besides even though he didn't fight long you gotta admit he beat the crap out of Spiderman and pulled off some pretty sweet moves ( like when Spiderman is trying to sense him but he can't and Venom comes down and picks him up by the head. Friggin sweet.

Re: Spider-Man 3

Gustavo, I cannot remeber te exact scene, but Eddie was referenced to prior tho the third installment.

Re: Spider-Man 3

umm. his name is spoken in a scene where i believe j.j. and robbie say that
eddie hasn't been able to get a picture of spiderman in action.

to confirm the statement-the commentary on the dvd says they meant it to establish eddie for
later action.

...and gustazo, i do see ur point. he was up to the role(topher) but i am sort of a fan of the comic.
where brock is a grizzled photgrapher in his late thirties. i still look at the mcfarlane spideys. he is my fave
comic artist.
im not sure who i would have cast as venom...ill have to think on it.(god bless the edit)
im thinking when they cast venom for sp3, they probably had the "ultimate" spiderman series in mind.

Oh alright thanks. McFarlane is the guy who created Venom isn't he?

The choice is obvious; Mr. T.

Someone in my school said that when they were watching the movie, a little kid had to leave because of Venom.

take it easy baby take it as it comes

Re: Spider-Man 3

i bet that kid got scared.

Re: Spider-Man 3

What a dumb kid. Why would you even go see it if you're gonna get scared? Yeah at 1st those stupid little kids are all excited and screaming like little girls but when they actually go in they just....omfg

By the way anyone collecting the bk toys? I only want Venom but so far I have a red Spiderman, symbiote Spiderman and 1 of the Venoms. See it's:

3 Spidermans
2 Symbiote Spidermans
2 Sandmans
1 New Goblin
2 Venoms (I have 1 of them)

Oh I just remembered my question. What's considered canon in Spiderman, the comics, t.v. shows, or movies?

"Everyone has the right to be stupid, but you are abusing the privilege."

Re: Spider-Man 3

yeah i wasn't aware of that but he was indeed created by David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane.
http://samruby.com/AmazingSpider-ManM/L … Man316.jpg
IMO few can match mcfarlanes intesity in his artwork.

as far as-what is canon for spidey...i have no clue.
but i doubt the movies r, or the cartoons. although the MTV cartoon was very cool.
anybody catch that?

Re: Spider-Man 3

What is established in the comics is canon for Spider-Man.

I used to watch the MTV Spiderman show. I only saw a few episodes of it, though.

Re: Spider-Man 3

i hate that sometimes when a good cartoon is made from a good comic but sometimes are fighting in canon info...because both versions are great ( tho not all the time) especially with oldies like xmen and spidey

Re: Spider-Man 3

lol gustavo how much money have u spent at bk? and the MTV Spider-Man wasn't half-bad, it was more canon than the movies.

Re: Spider-Man 3

The MTV Spider-Man was okay, but I really love the old Spidey cartoon that came on Fox Saturday Mornings. The crunching guitar solo theme song gets me every time.
