I think that it would be a long, tiresome battle, but Riddick would win. All he would need is a knife or a shiv. He is just as ruthless (perhaps even more), just as resoursful, just as intelligent, and twice as deadly. The only way Fett would survive is if he had a powerful flashlight. He once killed someone with a tea cup.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

I know a bit about Riddick but it has been a long time since i have seen any of the films. How good was his healing ability?

I'm smiling because they havn't found the bodies yet. :)

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

One of the sources I provided says above average, but I do not remember anything great about it. He can, however, dislocate and re-locate bones.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Yeah I think Boba's armour would give him a chance since Riddick specialises in combat with etched weapons. I think it would actually be fairly close. Obviously hand to hand Boba wouldnt stand a chance.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Yeah, Boba could probably snipe Riddick, thogh he has displayed reliable instincts and intuition.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Riddick would win he beat the necromonger who was pretty much invincible

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Based on what I read about Riddick I would say he would be a good challenge for Boba but that in the end, he wins.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Has Boba killed a triple-maximum security prison guard with a tea cup? Has Boba killed one of the greatest  warriors in an army over took a planet in less tha a day in less than ten seconds? Has Boba killed the leader of said army? Has Boba killed a small army with only two blades?

Just remember this is all fiction.....and that Boba has done great things as well, like defeating a whole garrison of imperial stormtroopers.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Has Riddick defeated a dark lord of the sith? Has Riddick managed to survive an assualt from one of the most powerful starships in the galaxy? Has Riddick single handedly taken down a world devastator? Has Riddick defeated a garrison of storm troopers ? Course not because they are two different universes. Boba could kill somone in 10 seconds it dosent take that long for a blaster bolt too travel.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

But could Boba kill one of the greatest warriors with a knife? The small army Riddick destoyed was much deadlier than the storm troopers.

Too bad we don't have some sort of simulator....

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

We don't.  I think (personally) that Boba would win.  He is a walking armoury, and wouldn't allow Riddick to get anywhere near him if he was smart.  That would be key.  Worst comes to worst, he'd just use his flamethrower on Riddick if he comes to close.

And as the blaster bolt travels at slightly below lightspeed, I'd say that it would take less than 5 seconds for Fett to kill someone, IG-88.

Riddick is just as stealthy as he is intelllligent and powerful.  In "Pitch Black,"he was in a large, hollowed out skull with two others in it. Neither of them knew that he was in it, despite maticulous searching. One of them was a first class bounty hunter. In the "Chronicles of Riddick," he visited a planet called Cremetoria. When the sun comes ou, anyone not under cover would be litrally vaporized. He was out right before the sun came up for a short period of time, while smoke was radiating from his singed body.

Yeah well 1st class bounty hunters in that world probably compare to Greedo if he didn't find Riddick in a large skull. Boba Fett could do way better than the hunters in Riddick's world.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Seeing as he was able to capture Riddick, I doubt that.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

My faith in Boba stays the same.  He would be able to beat Riddick.  Not easily, but he would do it.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Could you enlighten me on how?

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Okay.  First he would maneuver Riddick to an open area, so that his stealthiness would be nullified.  He'd then keep himself at a comfortable distance, and lay down the heavy ordenance.  A few well placed rockets in front of Riddick, followed by a couple rounds of blaster fire, and maybe a timed burst of the flamethrower.  If Riddick cannot get close, he cannot kill Boba.  Even with the healing factor, he would eventually die under the sustained fire.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Riddick would not allow himself to be manuvered into an open area. He is much to smart for that. Boba only has two rockets, and Riddick is also much faster than an average human. I'm sure that Riddick is also great with projectile weapon. For a long range attack, Riddick may be able to use the "Wrath of the Furyans." Also, Riddick has no healing factor. Riddick would not just stand in one place and allow himself to be flamed for long enough t kill him.

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

I am taking that all into account.  Boba can adapt to Riddick's attack style easliy.

I'm not sure why, but this just makes me want to ask the question... in your mind, can he lose?

Because so far all I can see is you saying, "if Boba tried to use a rocket, Riddick would dodge it. If Boba did this...blah blah Riddick would win."

No where have I seen how Riddick could kill Boba. Don't get me wrong, I believe Riddick is a heck of a fighter, especially with the insticts, speed, and strength he has shown. I'm not saying either way yet, but I do know that Riddick isn't going to have any advantages in weaponry while Boba is using blasters and such. Even with Riddicks proficiancy with melee weapons, they can't compare to a thermal detonator or a rocket.

In my mind, it is more of a battle between whether Riddick can get close enough to Boba to kill him. If he can, he would win quite quickly. If not, Boba has the match in the bag. So can Boba dodge Riddick with his Jetpack and reflexes, I'd say yes. So I'd say my answer is Boba... by a nose.

Good... Bad... I'm the one with the gun.
Hail to the King Baby!!

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

would boba be armed?

Re: Boba Fett verses Richard B. Riddick

Does he have two arms?  smile  I am pretty sure Boba wouldn't go anywhere, especially into a battle without his weapons.
