Tog fell to the ground the wound in his stomach bleeding greatly. The droid was about to finish Tog off when Darius came out of no where and sliced off the droids head with his lightsaber. The droid fell backwards and landed on the dead jedi.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

"In the least case we're jumping past the Maw Cluster." Rilk
"We'll have to either navigate around towards Gand or Nal Hutta." TenRe
TenRe couldn't believe that the ship had a non-digital star chart. Giving up on folding it and throwing it behind his head into the back. Resting his head on his hand.
"Push us past Gand. Make the line on this side, left side of Anzat. Right side of Kegan."
Rilk tapped in the coordinates, they'd leave hyperspace at least twice. If the engines held out, the ship wouldn't make another trip.
"If you're sure we'll make it. Not sure why we're going past Mon Calamari. Seems you went a bit out of your way to get to Dantooine just to head back in the same direction."
"When running from the enemy the best stragedy is an eccentric one. Imagine how many planets are between just Dantooine and Mon Calamari much less Kashyyk. "
TenRe stood up, sliding into the couch placed in the side room and laying down.
(MANY STANDARD HOURS LATER. ABOUT TWO AND A HALF DAYS BUT AT LEAST LESS THAN A WEEK.)
TenRe got up, parking himself in the co-pilot's seat. Letting Rilk pull them out of hyperspace. The star lines ripping out of existence. Placing them on the outskirts of known space. About eight planets resided in the Eton sector, one massive star burning two of them while four had settled in livable space. The last two too cold for standard life to live comfortably, but there were probably settlements none the less.
"Alright, we want the third largest planet. Docking procedures are going to be horrible so let me deal with that. That one there. Just pull in nice and easy."
The surface from their vantage looked like rock, a tannish color closer to sand with a reddish hue. And then it turned green, the visisble exspance of water trapped in the middle of foliage. He'd never seen any other source on the planet in any year of traveling. Two massive space stations visible; a robotics corp and star ship builder.
"Ship number 351884. Please prepare for landing procedure. Send your ship information now."
Standard stuff, and then they'd have to go through the more than unusual customs. TenRe set that in, landing instructions send almost immediantly after that. Eton-five was famous for having the lowest crime rate compared to a good part of the deep and inner core planets. And once they landed, they'd yet to even see the landscape. Parked in a closed dock raised above the second city. The only good sized cities being the three located in the mountains. Leaving the ship they were immediantly met by three guards. Two feet taller than they were.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

(Back to Tog) Darius quickly rushed Tog to the medlab and he was instanly put into a bacta tank. He had to stay in there a while always asleep. He was visited by younglings and Kita many times, James came the most. Tog just might have to stay in the tank for a month.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

Kita sat at the table, studying an old holocron's readout. She was mainly doing out of boredom; at least when the TenRe and Rilk were here she had someone to argue with for just arguement's sake. Master Darius was watching over the Younglings, so, in his words not her's, "Meet some of the young men of the town." Egotistic Mandalorian men, dirty old men, and a bunch of spice-high adolecents. Wonderful. . . , Kita sighed in her mind as she took a sip of Tarisian ale. Tog had been attack by a droid of somesort. She getting slow and stupid, she should have been prepared for an attack on her, er, What are they exactly? She couldn't pick out a word that encompassed what they were to her. Not a family--she doubted she'd ever have one of those, a true one at least-not friends but not quite loved ones.
Kita cleared her head with a physical shake; she knew she'd have to move them again someplace. Getting too comfortable here, feeling too safe. . . too hated.
"Admit it, baka, you actually miss the two dark-cowled Jetii'se. You got attached and now you're paying for it." It pays to wear a helmet; nobody knows your soul.
Garrison was waiting for her when she got back to the Jetii'se complex, something in his eyes told her something-- and she wouldn't like it-- had happened. Her first thoughts? Who cares? She wouldn't ever admit to them.
    "What, ad'ika?"
"The Council wants to speak with you. And I'm leaving."
Kita's face stanched, "Run that by me again." Please, don't after Ursula. . .
"They found me a Master who's willing to take me on, Kita." He shifted uncomfortably, weight moving from one foot to the other. "I'm going to Coruscant. Tog's free to do what he wants, but there's a few Masters and Mandos that are willing to take on the kids; Council wants to talk to you."
They're taking everything away.  "Okay, then. Take care, kid."
"You're not going to try and stop me?" Garrison asked without looking back at her; it had begun to thunder in the distance. Kita hooked her thumbs in the loops of her belt and looked as nonchalant(sp?) as possible, "Nah. You're a man by Mando standards. You feel like you gotta prove yourself, who am I to stop you? I ain't got the right; I ain'tcha Momma." Kita winced inwardly, when she was stressed her infliction of a drawl was predominate in her pronoucation.
    "Good-bye then." Garrison
"Wait a minute, kid. 'See you later', I hate 'goodbye'. Oh, and take this." She tossed a small dagger at him, wrapped in a sand-saber cat's pelt. "Might be of some use later, but I'm coming back for that." He caught it and paused and almost said something, but Kita was already walking away from him. Whistling a stupid, Mando lullaby.
She paused outside of the kid's room, hand paused outside the doorframe as if to knock for invitance. Master Darius was reading them, "The Lost Bantha." The irony wasn't lost on her; she'd been called "Bantha" because of her size when she lived here at the Jetii'se complex. She shouldered her pack, the only sound the expending of air as she removed her helmet. She kissed each one of them on the forehead, knowing that they'dn't remember her face in the morning.
"The other two will wonder where you are, Kita. You are still important to them."
"Tell TenRe and Rilk the truth; that I'm going after Ursula and Morticus for what they've done, but tell the Council some cock-and-bull story about me running off. They'll believe it."
"I meant them as in the kids and Tog." Kita knew that behind Master Darius's insanity lay logic.
"Tog can know, too. The kids. . . tell them I died or something. I'll be on Nar Shadaa if something comes up or somebody needs me. I'll be there for a few days, and I'll contact you when I have a lead."
"You can't running from your problems, Kita. It's okay to get attached to somebody. I'd hug you goodbye, but I can tell you don't like to be touched."
"I'll keep running; nobody's been able to find me once I disappear. Not even the stupid Sith. I doubt that a bunch of kids could, two bipolar Jedi, or a teenager and a Jawa ever could get a whiff of a second-hand rumor about what I've been doing. I'll be back soon, Master Darius. I just need to know what the Sith are up too next."
"You spoke to the Council." It wasn't a question.
"Yeah, but this mission is for me. Don't follow me, Master."
Master Darius watched his ex-apprentice leave the second time. I won't follow, but that doesn't mean I can't send somebody in my stead.

They say that dreamers are an extinct breed. I say they're wrong.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

The worst thing to remember about customs on Eton-Five were simple. Your ship is impounded for one day and inspected. Your person is inspected for two hours. The entire afternoon if they don't like you. And the fact is, the whole planet ran a tight shift. In had cut down on Bounty Hunters and Mercs busting into the atmosphere, impossibility of escaping detection without going through proper customs. He didn't understand how it worked but there was a kind of security net over the planet's main surface area. Excluding areas where landing would be improbable.
The main species on the planet were Siannics. Language: Sian. Average height: roughly seven feet. Appearance: Humanoid body structure, covered in well kept black fur. Clawed hands and feet. Bat like wings and foxish heads. Big eyes ranging in black, grey, and silver. This was there planet, they'd managed to keep it that way.
"Your clearance cards check out. A shuttle will be here for you shortly to the great temple. Inspection on your ship will be ready by tomorrow. Here's your receipt."
TenRe took it, placing himself on a bench to wait. Rilk pacing back and forth for a while, sitting down maybe five minutes then trying to get something out of the vending machine. It wouldn't accept his credits; Rilk placing it in at least ten times before giving up. They broke change and shared a medium sized bag of chips. Both of them quietly agreeing not to look at the ingredients label. By the time the shuttle arrived, they'd finished eating. Rilk throwing the bag away before leaving. Stepping on it was pretty empty. The driver, mother and child, TenRe and Rilk. The two Jedi sitting in the middle. Rilk with the window seat, looking out onto nothing but sand below.
"It's so vast...even this close all there is is rocks and sand. I don't even see any animals out there. Sure I sense them..."
"And that is the perc to not being a Sith."
When they landed the reception was more than surprising. One Siannic and a pink haired woman. An assassin droid with belt optics that never seemed to stop moving. Finally a small group of cloaked figures. Most were Siannic but every so often there would be others.
"Amazed you're still alive. But we have other matters. The Sith have finally burned the fuse short."
TenRe and Rilk followed after, summoned to the middle of the group next to the greeters plus their droid.
"Sir, repairs complete on the Red Alliance. In good time of course."
"Of course. I-Two, any news on the Sith movement? Anything out of the ordinary at all?"
"Nothing on the current channels. One Coruscanti report however..."
The Dark Side had again become a thorn in the galaxy's side. Too bad Ten had hired the perfect gardeners.

Tog slowly awoke, his wound had healed and he was already out of the bacta tank. The medical droid gave him a shot before letting Tog go. Tog went to his room and grabed his stuff, he wanted to go home. Tog walked to the front area and saw Kira loading up a ship, she was leaving. Tog walked over to her and grabed one of the smaller boxes and began carrying it on board. <Were we headin?>

"You cant come with me Tog" Kita said back to the jawa.

<Bah thats why I'm going cause your bound to get into trouble with out me> said Tog happily.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

Morticus put on his armor. It was gleaming in the light of the control bridge. Morticus went down to the docking bay with his new retinu of highly trained Mando's and ,of course, General Perez. When they arrived their ship was ready and waiting. All the other ships were already loaded with soldiers. The attack would begin shortly.
With a whir the repulsorlifts raised the ships inches above the docking bay floor. The slowly floated out of the ship and kicked them into full speed. Byys had no chance against the overwhelming power of the Sith Armada. Not only that but Morticus was launching a surprise attack on the planet.
                         .                    .                    .                    .
Morticus stood on the desolate city that had once been the heart of Byys. Th battle had soon turned into a slaughter and the few Jedi stationed on Byys were no match for the Great Sith Lord Morticus. The Republic had been caught offguard by the attack on th core systems. The had the majority of their ships and Jedis scattered throughout the Mid Rim to prevent attacks on the resource planets. Because of this the core systems were wide open to attack. Also, Morticus took the necessary precautions to prevent any help from reaching these planets. The core was his.

Since nona of you have voted against the time skip I'll launch it now. It will span three years of the war and will allow participants to:
1)Sith+Jedi: 2 new powers and the chance to change what your lightsabers are(e.g. you can now have two if you started with one or double sided)
2)Mandos+Troopers: You can change your weapons and learn hand-to-hand combat
3) You can kill off your character
4) You can make a new character
5) New characters can join now
Also you have to give a brief description of what your character has been doing for the past 3 years. New players have to tell what your characters are doing or how they joined either side.

Darth Morticus has 2 lightsabers now and his new powers are: Battle meditation(strengthens his soldiers and frightens his opponents) Infernal Rage(Dark rage but stronger)

Three years had passed since th invasion of Byys. Darth Morticus had conquered the core systems. The only planet he had not conquered was Coruscant. It had held out after each of his assaults. But his final attack would determine the fate of the Republic.

Also Sliv is dead.

Didn't change much.
1. namee: Rilk
Species:Human
Alliance: Neutral
Weapon-of-choice: Tonfa Style lightsaber (orange)
Force powers: Shred(Improved version of fear, tears away at the mind)
2.Name:TenRe Dian
Species:near-human
Alliance: Neutral
W-O-C: Staff lightsaber (tan)
Clothing: Force robes (iron colored), plate goggles(sunglasses that cover the forehead before being put over the eyes-nothing special), Rancor hide boots.
Appearance: Scarlet red hair, black eyes (weak because of small pupils. Terrible night vision, and slightly poor day vision.)

The wait of three years had been mind numbing. Each day more blood to hear of.  And it felt like nothing had changed. One evening after another passing. Caught in the darkness of meditation, training. Tears of sweat rolling off. The pain of waiting. Dark Side calls whispering through their ears of hatred and futility. And all had come to fruition. Soon, ever the day closer.
It was a small order, neither Jedi nor Sith. The supposed center of the force balance. Built for those Jedi that wished to never become Sith, Sith to never become Jedi. These were the Forcers of Eton-Five's temple in the second city. One hundred applicants in total. Four council advisors. One head, Maltese Kentaiba. (I haven't seen him in a Rpg for a while...) TenRe had become an Advisor, more of a war act than a true position. Rilk a choice fighter drowned in the arts of the mind. Soon the war horn would cry out.  And the hammer of fate would fall.

Tog had left the broken republic group and went back to his home of Tatooine. He made a small living on a small junk shop in Mos Esliey, he had a holo picture of the entire gang above his counter: Kira, the younglings, Darius, Garrison, and Tog. Tog looked at his dust gathering launchered placed gently under the holo picture. A jawa female came out from the back of the shop. <Honey, can you go to the store and get some good milk for the baby?> the female asked Tog.

1) Name: Kita "Eowyn" Kane; gun-metal coloured armour w/ simple black trim
Alliance: Free-lance; neutral-Mando
Gender: Female
Weapon-of-Choice: Verpine sniper-rilfe; gauntlet vibroblades
Style: Hapkido

Name: Garrison "Witch Doctor" ArahTeh; sand-gold armour w/ simple red trim
Alliance: Jedi Knight
Gender: Male
Weapon-of-Choice: Curve-Hilted Lightsabers; pink and cyan
Style: Niman

Kita raced up the steps to the meeting house; muttering archaic curses beneath her breath. Garrison, running at her side, just smiled. She was dragging him along by the scruff of the material sheilding his neck from chaffing beneath his Mando armour. He had a lopsided grin on his face and his eyes were glazed over. Do as I say, boy, not as I do, Kita growled in her head.
Their first contact with the Jedi Council in a year and he had been bullied by  Mando teens his age into trying Tarisian ale. They'd been paired up together for more missions than Kita had fingers, and they'd become inseperatble as only brother/sister could.
For the last three years they'd been the ears, the eyes, and the arms of the Jedi Council much to Kita's displeasure. She'd been good at holding her wicked tongue if only to keep the flak from being aimed at Garrison, though, her fuse was coming to an end. She'd never got go after Ursula and Morticus directly, more or less they'd been collecting intel for the more experianced Jedi-- often being left behind to watch the other Mandos and Jedi reap the rewards of their hard work.
Though this time it would be different, Kita knew that the time had come for Morticus to strike at the Core. She could feel it in the air eveytime she drew a breath, and Garrison had said that he'd picked up on the nightmares she'd had.
Kita swept at a heart-pacing stride through the expansive always, purposely making Garrison run after her to dispell the affects of the alcohol. She hadn't given up the habit of removing her helmet, and her dark visor glinted with an angry fire, the Jetii'se who knew her nodded a hello, but new Padawans and Younglings gave her and the oddly-dressed Jedi Knight following after her; pasty faced and eyes no longer dulled.
Who was waiting for the Mandalorian free-lancer and the druken Jedi Knight, though, was a pleasant surprise for the drunkard, but Kita wasn't happy. Garrison danced up to the sullen pair and greeted them with one-sided hugs. Master Darius sat at he table, Tog sitting on top looking pleased with himself.
"We've been summoned," Master Darius said quietly. Kita knew what that meant, and Garrison seemed able to comprehend what the cryptic Gray Jedi was saying. "Eton-Five's Council knows what you two," he nodded his head toward Kita and Garrison, "have done. You wanna play one last game?"
"Like Shoots and Ladders?" Garrison hiccuped making Kita roll her eyes. "We don't have a choice, do we? Looks like we're puppets again; we've got what they need and we don't get anything back in return. You up from it, Garrison?"
"Do we get candy?"
"Sure, Garrison. Sure." Kita glanced at Tog-- looking more happy than ever now that he had a launcher back in his hands-- and then at the dark-skinned Corellian that had taken care of her as a child. "Fine; we'll go on one condition." Master Darius cocked his head as if to say, 'what'. "We," she wagged her finger between Garrison and herself, "Go by an alias. I don't want anybody there to know who we are, capice?"

They say that dreamers are an extinct breed. I say they're wrong.

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

"I doubt the Jedi have any idea what they've done. Sending their own men to help us."
"Well, not knowing we exist has helped out some. Till the end they'll think it's simply the government."
TenRe finished his drink, sliding the bottle and glass to the side of the table out of the way. Maltese slowly picking up a small circle shaped food, one that began moving. Turning into a long insect thing with too many legs. Writhing in a desperate attemp to escape. Down in one gulp.
"I have a question for you TenRe, what are the chances she'll attemp using an alias?"
"I really have no idea, but I'd say it's 50/50 give or take."
The room was medium sized, with only a table and three chairs in the middle. A bowl of those creepy crawlies and two bottles of drink. Kentaiba's left unfinished.
"I suppose you'll have to wait for her at the station then. Customs will only go as far as letting her land befor starting. Two hours till that. I'll come along."
Maltese stood up, stretching. A service droid zooming in, taking the contents of the bag and placing them in a to go box.  Handing that over. Ken taking it in his left hand, leading the way out.
"Is Kalla coming along?"
She met them in the hallway even before Ten finished his sentence. The short pink hair down to her ears. Obviously a girl any man would enjoy meeting. If she wasn't married...
Down the three went, grabbing a speeder in the dock beneath the main structure. Out into the twilight haze right before dark. And at customs.
"I'm afraid any weapons in your possesion will be confiscated until your departure. Sign here. Your ship will be given a rigourous inspection. Sign below that box near the bottom. We only accept C class armor as described in the customs packet, Mandalorian counts as A. Sign on the next page near the top. Understanding culture however Mando is the only A class permitted. Finally, sign your name and ship I.D. on that last page. If you'd like we can go over the insurance forms should your ship be stolen."
She looked infuriated at waiting. Arms crossed, tapping one foot lightly. The Siannic behind the counter contiuning without even a flinch or pause. Garrison parked behind her on a bench. Ten and Maltese walking up to the counter on either side.
"You'll need landing referals instead, should be the blue ones." Maltese
"Those require a a notice from the elder. But, seeing as how he's asking for them I'll see if I can find any."
The Siannic stalked off into a back room, coming back with a two page blue colored form. Ten watching the speeder they'd taken idle outside through the port bored.
"Just sign here sir, and you'll need to sign here miss. Enjoy your stay on Eton-Five. We'll have you refered soon as possible."
Maltese directing them all into the speeder. TenRe sitting in the back with Garrison. Kita and Kalla in the front with Maltese.
"They'll move the ship for you so don't worry about that. Sorry, introductions. Maltese Kentaiba. Elder Council Member."
"Kalla Kentaiba, it's a pleasure."
"And of course we all remember TenRe. Good seeing the both of you again."

Tog walked to the nearest food stand, it was only a couple blocks down the road. He looked around him as Mos Esiley was booming with life as people hurried left and right with work. Tog walked up to a devorian that owed him money from the last swoop race. <Oui, horn-head you got me money?> Tog asked.

The devorian turned his head to Tog. "Eh? Oh it you Tog. Thought ju be someone else. Il get it for you in a week. Freinds honor."

Tog looked back towards the Devorian. <A week allright, the wife getting pretty mad that Im not getting the money>

The devorian let out a small chuckle. "Take care Tog, Ill have it in a week!"

Tog waved goodbye to the Devorian and continued his way to the food stand. After a while he reached it, it was run by an old female human. "Hello Tog" The women said. "More milk again?"

<You got it, that child drinks it to fast.> Tog said handing the lady some money and taking a few bottles of milk.

"Eowyn Whistler," Kita nodded polietly. "Obviously Mando-bodyguard." She tried to joke.
"Valor Djinn; Jedi Knight." Garrison followed Kita's lead.
"This'll sound brazen, but we need to speak with whoever's in charge as soon as possible. We'll understand if we must wait, but this intel might prove vital to the war effort," Kita intoned to the elder Kentaiba. "We haven't time for pompous senators or beating around the bush. Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

Maltese gunned the throttle, throwing everyone into their seats. Weaving in and out of traffic like a being possessed.
Kalla mildly playing a word puzzle in the seat next to him as if she'd expected it. TenRe rubbed the back of his head.
Amused that the two had actually used an alias. As if he wouldn't recognize their specific aura's. When they finally arrived and the ship docked the five of them stepped out and into the temple.
"Pardon the mess, we don't use cleaning droids."
There were a few specs of dust at best. The applicants having cleaned the place from top to bottom just today. And this was just a hallway leading into the main building.
"I'll show you to your rooms after we've talked. Even if you're tired I'm afraid it can't be helped."
Down the hall into the main room. A giant waterfall cascading with an incredible rush of water. The source connected to a below ground water channel that'd been diverted and then continued on. The plus to having the complex built below the city and into the base of the mountain. There were even small fish swimming about, a few reptiles. Nothing big enough to be dangerous. Another hall to the right lead to the Lobby. And on the left a passage to the staircase up into the quarters. There was even a strip of a glass floor revealing the water's path out.
"It's a little too loud here, we'll have to have our little chat in the lobby."
And in the lobby no one was around. Them sitting on benches with the crash still audible in the distance.
"Let's be frank, you weren't sent here to aid the government in anything or whatever the message said. We just needed an excuse to get the two of you here. Yes, TenRe informed me who you were."
"So who are you then? What do you want?"
"Council Elder Maltese Kentaiba, head of the Force Hunter Division. One hundred Five people, not including you two. Each a well developed forcer. Another reason to have Garrison, TenRe, and Rilk."
TenRe leaned back, placing his hands behind his head.
"This little talk is simple, I would like to spend one week training Garrison and then there's always the revenge against the Sith for taking your precious Ursula."

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

(Morticus' lightsabers have curved handles)

The Sith Destroyer floated in space surrounded by the Sith Armada. In the war room of this ship stood the powerful Dark Lord Morticus and his generals. They were planning the fall of the Republic and its Jedi and the glorious rise of the Sith.
"My Lord," one of the generals, a Faleen, spoke, "If we attack before the Jedi can be recalled then we might be able to take Coruscant. If we wait the counterattack could prove fatal to our objectives." The other generals murmured assent.
"I see your concern. It is most advantageous to attack now before the Jedi return. That way we can set up a blockade and keep the core systems under our control." The Dark Lord paused to let others say anything. The room was silent. "Prepare your men, My generals, we shall attack tomorrow."

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

"Fine," Kita nodded before Garrison could speak. "What did you call me for, then? Not to be concided, but I don't see where I fit into your little scheme. Garrison knows every scrap of intel I do; you wanted him, not me."
"They know I wouldn't have gone without letting you know or dragging you with me by the scruff of your neck--"
"You can't reach that high." Kita scoffed.
"Anyway, Kita, they knew you'd come after me; smelling a trap."
It was TenRe's turn to be surprised, Kita looked across at him, "He's grown up. Garrison's not that scrawny teenager you and Rilk made fun of." She held up a single, metal-knuckle gloved finer, "You're wrong on another count, I don't want revenge anymore. Ursula and I choose different paths a long time ago; Master Darius and I accepted that. Just point me in the right direction, and I'll find some Sith to shoot. That's what I am, just some hired muscle. Now, what do you need me to do, 'cause I'm goin' home if it's nothin'."

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

"That's what I've always loved about humans, Mandalorians especially. I know full well the depths of hired muscle, and I wouldn't mind paying for your services. Or, you could just join for the fun of killing another being. The pleasure of thinking you're a hero. Or an old grudge if it does or doesn't exist. I'll let you sleep on it, after all, no need to rush."
The two Kentaiba's left. Leaving TenRe with Garrison and Kita. Maltese throwing a set of keys into Ten's hands as he passed
"I'll have someone show you to your rooms then. Mind you, both night and day on this planet last sixteen hours."
TenRe looked at the keys, rooms 84 and 85. Showing the two up the stairs and down the right hallway. Until the near end when they found the rooms.
"Good night then, we'll see you in the morning."

Re: RPG - The Great Sith War

Kita had decided to go to the local cantina without her armour. She didn't want to run the risk of being identified by the officers, and she felt like enjoying herself for a moment during a week that seemed to prove absolutely mind-numbing. Kita was always complaining about never having a vacation, but having nothing to do but wait for the hammer to fall on the anvil was antagonizing.
Flipping her chestnut/auburn hair behind her shoulder for the upteenth time; she sipped on a juice-- she only drank to fall asleep nowadays. Her gray eyes scanned the crowd; a few locals in a smoky section of the cantina; of couple of hoodies sitting to themselves; and a couple of teens who hadn't learned to hold their own, sat at bar. She stole a glance at the small basket of coincrabs in front of her; still alive, mind you, and started to play with them with the little dinky straw that had come with her drink. Somebody had at least put on a decent song; Finger 11 ~Good Times~ .
    ". . . I still don't see the point of war. . ."
    ". . . peace is all we want, really. . ."
"Yeah, but. . . only. . . tell that to Mandalorians."
Kita looked up from her drink at a pair of local teenage boys who had walked pass her table for the pazaak tables. Hey, we've accepted that if we want peace, we've to prepare for war, she thought defensively, but chided herself for it. Outlanders would never be able to understand; she realized that with dissapointment a long time ago.
She let her mind wander from her days spent in glorious battle with the Sith Forces; thought of the Wookies who had shown her the real war; the Younglings; and suddenly felt much older than her 23. Back on Mandalore-- in times of peace-- she'd have been married for at least eight years now, maybe have a couple of kids and a farmstead, a good, loving and respectful husband-- if she was lucky, a true mate who could share the thrill of battle with her. Kita wanted very much to just go home, but she'd be labled as a traitor and probably killed. For her, peace would never be a reality. Her greatest hope was to die young on the battlefield, bringing down as many enemies as possible.
And maybe restore the honor back to her people; Mandalorians were razing planets now out of spite and bloodlust. Not for the thrill of being tested by a warrior on your standards, and not for the honor and pride in proving yourself to Mandalore and the Armoured Gods. She was about to drown her self-pity and sorrow in something stronger than ale; something that would cause her to have a headache in the morning if at all convienant. When a vibrant shade of red hair caught her eye.
Ah, crap. I forgot that he was gonna be here, too. She stood, left a generous tip-- she had enough money to buy the entore Sith Armada, and walked out. Kita returned back to her room; sincerly hoping that he hadn't seen her, and decided to sleep until Gamorians(sp?) could fly with lacy lunamoth wings.
