Re: What you did over summer vaction!

I dropped my algebra class, got a job, and got a concussion. All in that order.  The same accident where I got a concussion also gave me some rather interesting battle scars. I walked like I was a century old for a week or two. On top of it I feel like an idiot- didn't wear a helmet!!

We had the oddest weather over summer. The usual can't-stand-it heatwave, and these fits of rain that hardly ever happen here. The grass and alfalfa didn't grow right. Hay for my mule might hit $12 a bale. Yikes!

Re: What you did over summer vaction!

I'm posting here the reason why I didn't post anything on BFFC during the summer.

I got into the Red Cross volunteering service (the army is gonna have to wait for my next life wink ) and with the Lebanon crisis, as you all know, there were a LOT of people who moved around in Europe so France had to take care of its refugees for the couple of months around the war. I was a freshman volunteer so they thought it'd be "cool" for me to go out on the field to see how it works to help traumatized/wounded people. I didn't go to Lebanon but was sent to airports  to be stationed there (sometimes for 30 hours straight, no food/sleep). So you can imagine it drained me from my inspiration and I didn't produce any good artwork at all.

Anyway I didn't do much.... I spent 2 weeks break in Sweden where I met my brother, attended a metal festival and it was really cool smile

The important thing i did was extend my fett collection even more.

Re: What you did over summer vaction!

My summer was dead boring. Reason being that i went to Disney in April with my marching band. I missed SW weekends...when i found out guys in Fett costumes were running around about 3 months after i had been there i almost cried. sad Other than that my most eventful thing was band camp.

Re: What you did over summer vaction!

There seems to be a lot of "summer camps" in the US. They're practically non-existant over here. But then I hear you only get two weeks annual leave from work, is that correct?
