Well, he did give him the book to learn everything he hadn't finished teaching him.  Enough to survive.  Everything else, though, he'd have to learn on the street.  I think that made Boba more street wise, and that's why he was more ruthless than Jango.  He wasn't afraid to fight dirty.

Elite bounty hunter?]]> It depends on the definition of "elite".  I view it as being one of the best member of a group or caste or whatever you are a part of, in our case bounty hunting.  If you are called the best of your time, then you have to be among this elite status.  Keep in mind just that because you have achieved elite status, it doesn't mean that you are one of the best ever.
