Well, when you consider that almost everything in Star Wars can be argued and debated, it's no surprise that there would be problems keeping the "facts" strait in a place like the SW Wiki. The problem with it is that many of the articals will show one side of a subject when it can really be a subject of strong debate...on top of the fact that the info very well could be faulty no matter which side it's trying to show.

I like to use it for pics and getting a general idea of what's happening with a subject, but I don't take anything I read there as solid facts

I knew a guy who was friends with the Wookiepedia guys and sometimes helped them out and he told me all about how they're always arguing and changing things on each other. Now this kid practically worshiped them and the site and was obsessive about it. Even he finally got fed up with it and left. I would trust the actual Wikipedia before I'd trust Wookieepedia. I admit I haven't really read through a lot of their entries. But I'm certainly not the only person who thinks Wookieepedia is awful.

And besides, I don't even really like anything that allows people to edit something important like that. You end up with all the wrong information. I was at Wiki once and read Boba's entry and, OMG, it was atrocious! I decided I would clean it up and set it right. They changed it back on me saying I was wrong even though I knew I was right. For example, one thing they did was they claimed Boba had been born before TPM. When in fact Jango doesn't even MEET Dooku till after TPM. Think of the poor newbie who reads the entry and then thinks he knows all about Boba then imagine he goes somewhere and is talking and says something about when Boba was born before TPM and someone corrects him. Imagine the poor, hurt newbie who thinks "No, they're wrong and I'm right I read it at an "official" source." And then he tells everyone he knows his misinformation and then in 50 years there's going to be very few people who actually remember what's real, and soon, those too will go away. All because one stupid site just HAD to make to where complete idiots could edit it.

Good lord whats with all the one word posts. Miba, just because anyone can edit something doesnt mean its all wrong, its only when you get people who think its fun to put fake stuff in there. Anyways, i use wookiepedia for info and pictures on somethings.

They weren't around at the time of TPM. Jango and Tyranus didn't even meet till a month or so after TPM. In the game Bounty Hunter Roz was saying she has a Toydarian friend on Tatooine who "lost everything in a podrace last season". This is hinting at Watto losing Anakin.

Wookiepedia is not the best source for info, no, but it has a large Data base, which is useful sometimes....
Also the clones had been around sence episode 1 but they where in the Process of growing after the order, just because they where not in the 1st episode, doesn't mean that they where not around.

Wookieepedia is not the best source for correct information, I try to avoid going there if at all possible. My info that I posted I got from an article in an old Insider issue where someone (rick mccallum???) was saying that.

Also, in books and comics, I know Tales isn't usually considered good canon, but there is one comic where an old Jango clone was found during the OT era. And in a few books it talks of regular non-clone recruits, such as Davin Felth in Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina, and the stormtroopers in Allegiance. There's not much mention of Jango clones in the OT era, as far as I'm aware, other than the one I said up there.
